Ugh..Many of you followed my post a while back regarding my brother who lives 10 minutes from who threatend to sue me for "stealing" from my mom who we now care for since my dad's death 5 months ago..So far no lawsuit..But will the stupidity ever end..He lives 10 minutes from me and never calls my mom or vsitis except for his 6 hour "pickup" on sunday 3 times per month..I have another brother out of state who I've only seen maybe 10 times in 35 years, so he's not been around in my parents life either..Didn't attend my dad's funeral..The out of state brother sends my mom flowers yesterday and encloses a note that states he'll see her in two weeks when he comes to visit..He and his family are obviously staying with my local brother (they talk)..Ironic that my husband and I have not heard anything about this visit..Nothing from either of them except this note to my mom with dementia and other issues (can't be left alone at all; we do 24 hour care)..It shall be interesting as this is probably Memorial day weekend in which WE will be on vacation at our cottage as we have done every year for the last 8 years , WITH my mom..

OH for Pete's sake! Wouldn't you just love to see their faces when they come to see her and you all are gone! Love to be the fly on that wall! There's no telling what all your other brother has been telling him and people are so gullible that they will just believe anything. Rather than seeing the reality of the situation (you are the sole caretaker of your mother) wouldn't you think that would pretty much confirm who is the responsible/loving/caring person of the bunch...but no they are being manipulated by your brother instead! Sometimes I just don't get people!
