"Songs for the Missing" by Stewart O'Nan. I am about one third the way through and it's a big mystery to me what happened. I like the writing, the characters and the story.

Harvesting the Heart by Jodi Piccoult. It was a little slow to start, but it's picking up.

Embarrassingly enough, I am reading the Twilight Series for the second time. I just finished " The Shack "and needed something to read and reached for Twilight and now I'm hooked for the second time around. My MIL gave me a book this weekend called "The Power of Intention" by Dr. Wayne Dyer so I'll read that as soon as I finish the other four Twilight books.

I'm just finishing the Little House series in preparation for reading them with my daughter. I haven't read some of them since I was a kid myself, but I've always loved them. Dh is actually reading them too.

Don't forget to add "West from Home" a beautiful book made up of letters that Laura sent Almonzo from a visit with Rose in San Francisco at the turn of the century. It should be a part of the "Little House" series if you ask me! lol

Hi, njfl!! How are you? What do you think of Angels and Demons so far? I looked at it tonight while I was at Barnes & Noble BUT I was unsure about it. Any insight?

Take care,
Debbie

Angels and Demons is VERY good. I read it a couple of years ago, and I liked it better than The DaVinci Code.

I finished James Patterson - The 8th Confession. It was disappointing. It went along really good for 3 quarters of the book, and then it falls flat and ends. Don't buy it. Get it from the library.

Now I'm reading another new book: Fatally Flakey
Stay tuned!

The Three of Us A Family Story by Julia Blackburn. It's very good if you thought your family was dysfunctional read this one. Very well written memoir.
