My daughter and I are taking a trip to the coast and are going to try and get as close to the launch site as possible.

I'd love to go to Titusville but, if the traffic is a nightmare, we may settle for watching a bit further away.

I'm off to the store to pick up a bunch of drinks. Yesterday the temps hit 99 here and it's suppose to be nearly as hot today.

Have a good time. I saw it launch over 20 years ago. At the time you could get a pass and they let you sit right across the water from it. I will always remember how our car was shaking when it took off. It was a sight I will never forget!!

I remember seeing the shuttle take off around my 13th birthday. Back then we were allowed to sit right across the water as well, and the launch I saw was a night launch. So what I remember is the car shaking, and the night sky getting as bright as it would be at noon when the shuttle took off. It's something I'll never forget.

Watched it on tv!

Went out to my front yard to watch but there was a cloud bank parked right in my way...
