RAIN Arkansas RAIN Arkansas RAIN RAIN RAIN Arkansas and More Rain!

It has rained (and I'm not exaggerating here) EVERYDAY for the past 14 days.

I'm sick of it!! Storms every single day.

What is that Seasonal Disorder? I think I'm getting it. I want "Winter" to be gone the day after Christmas and somebody needs to tell "APRIL showers" I can't get out and plant "MAY FLOWERS" cause she won't go on her way.

Rain, Rain, Go Away,
I'm ready to be outside and PLAY!

Signed
X

Right, We get it first and send it your way...

Hey, guess what we're having right now?
Ding, Ding, Ding, We have a winner.. RAIN!

It got so black and the thunder was rolling on by.

Dh mowed the other day during a "break" in the storms.
Our yard looks like a Rain Forest. Thick, Jungle-y looking.
Where the wild things grow!

PS. Have not stopped to ask, but I remember them often, what ever became of the son of the Doctor from New Albany that had Cancer and had to come to Little Rock for treatment?
I have family roots in Lafayette County. My dad is buried in Etta between New Albany and Oxford. I didn't know the Doctor or his family but It was small town/close to home hearing about someone from that area.

sunny right now, but you'll probably shove your rain this way later on. i dont mind so much except having to haul all the kids to school in the rain each morning. I dont like mornings anyway and think of better ways to spend it than me and four kids sopping wet lol

(can't remember the last time I wore sunglasses! I'm living vicariously through a smiley!)

Yes, the radar shows more and more on the way.

I'm in Arkansas too and today...FINALLY...SUN!!!

Thought there for awhile we were going to have to start building that arc... At least everything is really beautiful and green. My trees (new ones) have all grown a ton just over the past few weeks. I know in July/Aug. we'll be looking for some rain and everything will be super dry though.

I would be thankful for some rain. I live in west-central Florida and we haven't had rain in 29 days in our county. We should have had 11+ inches of rain by now for the year, but we have barely received 4 inches so far for 2009. We are under water restrictions, small ponds are drying up, and the threat of wild fires is increasing. I can't wait for our daily afternoon summer showers to begin! Rain, baby, rain!!!!!

Thanks for the update...

Hey, guess what it's doing here in Little Rock?-- RAIN! LOL....
Wait, I'm telling a story... We are having a "Peek" between heavy grey clouds. It rained less than an hour ago and I see more coming on the radar.
And you should have seen what came bowling through here at around 4:15 this morning. I thought for sure I'd have a kid or two in my bed during that one.

They announced on the news here today that one of the Arkansas Water Theme parks (Magic Springs/Crystal Springs over in Hot Springs Arkansas) will not open this week due to so much rain. They've been unable to do scheduled maintenance and clean on their pools. hummm....
Several Camp grounds over on Lake Ouachita are closed due to flooding.. wow! -- that hurts this close to Memorial Day Campers!

What a soggy bummer!

For those in Florida that are missing their rain, I know where it took a wrong turn and you may come re-claim it at any time.
