2 weeks because if you send sooner people tend to put aside and forget to reply and you will be making phone calls. I did many Chuckie Parties and they have become expensive. An alternative is to do the Party on a quiet day and just buy the Pizza and Tokens and Cake on your own with the coupons they always have in the Sunday Paper. You will save a ton of money. Our Chuckie lets you sit in the party area as well.

1.5 weeks to 2 weeks. If you do more than 2 weeks ahead people will *forget* about it in my experience. If you do it too soon, they are booked. Good luck with RSVP's though We have 2 parties this weekend: one for my DD on Sat and one for DS on Sun. All of DD's friends have RSVP'd either yes or no but DS (who is almost 10) has 10 friends he invited and NO ONE has RSVP'd yet (party is this Sun). Invites went out to arrive 2 weeks ahead. That just bugs the crud out of me (not to mention DS who wants to know who is coming). Just pick up a freaking phone people! I even put my email if they wanted to use that

I like about 10 days. . .just before, the weekend before, the party. It gives people a weekend to shop and like others have said. . .too far out and people forget. I feel pretty bad. . .my daughter missed a birthday party last weekend. It seems like we got the invitation a long time ago and my daughter was spending the night at Grandma's . . .I just forgot. She didn't remember either and I haven't told her yet. . .woops!
