What do you think about AI adding a 4th judge this season? And Kara DioGuardi in particular?

I think it was a mistake....she's like a 5th wheel and doesn't add anything to the show. Last night she was so high school-ish when she was nah-nah-ing at Simon.

Well i don't care for her much. but i think they brought her in this year for people to get used to her cause next year simon won't be around anymore. I will miss simon. I love him.

I'll miss Simon too. I hope it's not the case tho, that they brought her in for his replacement. If it's true, I won't be watching it anymore.

Good one! She is boring. A lot of my friends quit watching AI because it's too predictable. The ratings have still been dropping this season with the changes. I read where AI plans on having the same 4 judges again next season, so I don't think Simon is leaving. I don't watch it every week this season. Almost all of the preformances have been "forgetable" to me (as Simon calls them). I probably remember the awful ones more than any others. When Simon does leave, the show won't last long.

I heard that simon was to busy with many things going on. I never heard much about paula, but thats cause i can't stand her anyway.

Simon will be back for one more year that is left on his contract. Idol won't survive unless they can get him to resign after that.

I saw a poll that showed that 70% of viewers don't want her back next year. I agree with them -- I don't enjoy her at all.

I don't think she adds anything to Idol.

If Simon leaves AI, I think the show will go too. Simon really is the only one that actually gives those kids a real opinion. The rest of them are too 'gushy' (oh, you were wonderful, the best, dawg.) I swear I wish they would fine Randy every time he says 'dawg'!!! I'd like to see him gone!!

First of all, I do not like her. Now, as for Simon. He said he will be here next year for sure. He "might" leave after that, but not sure. He has way too many jobs. I can't imagine the show without him, though. I love all three judges.

I can't stand her. I'm sick of her obvious lust of the contestants. She grunts and groans every time she sees one she wants. It's unseemly for a judge to act that way and who is she to judge anyone, anyway? I don't even know who she is or her what her (small) claim to fame might be, if she even has one I never heard of her until she joined American Idol.

Actually, she was Paula's intended replacement, not Simon's. Paula was having problems and this woman was supposed to fill her shoes but then Paula straightened up and decided she wanted to keep her job, which left them stuck with the unneeded Kara.
