I am heading out to Florida in the morning my mom had a colonoscopy on Wednesday and they found a large tumor and they are removing it Tuesday.

She is 86, she has been despondent since Daddy died almost 2 years ago wanting to be with him and I fear she does not have the strength and will to fight this and will pass away.

I am taking my bi-polar 21 yr old son with me, DH wanted the whole family to go but DS Stefan has state testing and I talked to the Doctor and they feel having a little guy around would be too much on her so we made the decison to have me go and take the 21 yr old since he can drive and will definitely keep me awake and hopping.

I will update as I can I will have my laptop with me.

I got here at 9:45 last night would have gotten here sooner but there was a horrific accident in South Carolina that delayed me about an hour.

Mom was supposed to be admitted today we took her to the hospital and they have no record of her to be admitted. Lets just say the neighbor who set all this up and myself are hopping mad right now, she was told to come in today between 1 and 2 pm and she would have some tests on Monday and surgery Tuesday and they have no record whatsoever at the hospital of her to be admitted or for surgery. I rushed down here because of this when I could have taken my time. I am not very happy someone dropped the ball, and I believe it was the Doctors office who did not make the arrangements, I know the neighbor who cares for mom has all her faculties and takes meticulous notes and has everything written down that was said so needless to say first thing in the morning there will be lots of phone calls made and I know Nancy the neighbor pretty well I think she may show up at the office and raise holy heck, she did it before, I know she can annoy the crud out of me sometimes, but she does a great job with my mother.

I expect I will be here for a month or so after the surgery, I do appreciate the prayers etc.
now its just wait and see I guess.

Easier said then done I have been restricted to the couch because my left foot is swollen. DS is worried about me since he knows I have a history of blood clots and is trying to con me out of my car keys to be the chauffer not happening since he is not on my insurance, but he has a good heart.

I am supposed to be at my Gyn's Tuesday for follow-up from my surgery two weeks ago guess I wont be making that appointment will I?

DS is actually doing the dishes by hand since Mom does not have a dishwasher, he has amazed me so far with his behavior. Now if I could just find a cheap toaster somewhere, my mom got rid of the toaster since I was here in August last year and I want my english muffins.
