I vote for Adam!

I want Adam to win. Do i think he will? I am not sure. I hear a lot of bad things about him as far as kissing other guys that kind of turns people away. Simon said that if people want Adam to win they will have to vote. He said it in a way that he knows adam doesn't stand much of a chance due to what is plastered on the internet. Simon gets the info of what the voting has been like and he was unsure if adam will win this. I want him to win i hate Chris. I can't stand chris's voice or even chris's looks he really annoys the heck out of me. Please Adam win!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I kinda got tired of Adam toward the end. He became sort of a "one trick pony" with his theatrical style and high-pitched shreaking applied to every song. In the beginning it was unique and impactful, but personally I tired of it a bit. I liked Alison and was sorry to see her go.

It's hard to say who is going to win. Adam has an awesome voice and stage presence but not everyone likes his style and look. I actually voted for Kris just because I like his style of music more.

Here's my theory (FWIW):
I think Kris will win. Kris fits more into the mold of what the "first" album typically is for AI contestants. Kris has the better potential to appeal to a wider market than Adam.
Adam, while I like him, is just too "out there" to appeal to middle America. I believe he is an enormously talented young man. I think he has a very bright future in the music industry. But, if you strip away the "out there" of Adam Lambert what's left?
I like both of them. I have followed Kris because he's from Arkansas. And he attends college where I attended. From everything I have read and seen--Kris is just as nice and humble as he appears. That is not an act. He is extremely active in his church. He is just a likable person with a God-given talent.
Adam? I think there's a lot under the surface with Adam. He's a performer--that's what he grew up doing. Without the whole air of "mystery" surrounding Adam--he's just another performer with an trained voice.
I like Kris for the win.

All you have to do is google Adam Lambert and you can see the pictures of him kissing other guys. Can he sing? yes... Is he better than Kris?... Depends on what kind of music you like. Who do I think is a better role model for my children? Kris, hands down! I think both of them will go on to be great performers no matter who wins tonight.

I would love for there to be a huge shake up and for Kris to win. I don't think that will happen though as Adam has a huge fanatical following. I predict that Kris will find much more success in the industry though, and Adam will not quite find his niche.

Did someone actually say that Kris is agonizing to look at? He could be the prettiest boy AI has ever had, and that's another reason he will be successful.

My theory since Danny left was.......all of Danny's votes are now going to be divided up between Adam and Chris. I feel as though the Danny followers will lean more to Chris than Adam.

I think Chris is a "peach" and truly would live up to a true American Idol. Although very early on in the competition I said Adam would be one of the last finalist.

This was a fantastic year for AI and I wish both of them huge amounts of success!!

I think Kris is adorable, and a good singer. I just think Adam is much deeper, more unique, more powerful, etc. Adam will be a mega star, while Kris will probably have a hit or two on a pop station, if he is lucky.

I just have a sick feeling that Kris will win tonight.

My preference is Adam. I like his style more. But I think Kris is just as good in his own way. Whoever looses will actually have the advantage...career-wise. They will be able to sign with a record label of their choice, unlike the winner who stays under contract with American Idol.

It surprises me to see pics of Adam with men, but it has no influence on my opinion.

I also miss Danny. If I was a voter, I'd vote for Kris. I think Adam screams too much. Dialidol has them neck and neck with votes, with Kris slightly higher. We'll see....soon....

Last week simon said on the show don't take anything for granted if you want him to win you need to vote. Simon is the head judge and is privy to a lot of information. And simon would not have said that if he felt adam didn't need help on the votes.

And, HE was so surprised! It was so cute when he said "Adam deserved this."

That was the most amazing, fantastic finale I ever saw! How can they ever top it next year?

I'm glad for Kris ...and Adam did not look too broken up over loosing. It was a crazy night.

The show was great, regardless Adam will do very well. Kris just sucks he really isn't that great of a singer. Again this is a popularity contest not a singing competition. Its because he has a baby face and was well liked by the girls. Just because Kris won does not mean he will be a star. He will do ok at first then be just like jordan sparks is.

Kris didn't get there because he "sucked". Kris can sing and is talented. You're doing a huge disservice to Adam by saying Kris sucks, and he won because of popularity. In essence you are saying that Adam WASN'T popular or talented enough to beat out some baby-faced bad singer. Keep that in mind when you start running down Kris and his ability.

GG--I miss Freddie Mercury too! I've been saying that Adam should sing Freddie and KISS for a while now. I think he did Freddie proud, and wherever Freddie is--he's smiling!

Last night's show was certainly a wonderful opportunity for all the top AI contestants.....the chance to perform with all those famous and talented musicians was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, for sure!

I have to say that I didn't like Kris much at all at the beginning. I do think he improved tremendously from the beginning of the show to the end. It will be interesting to see where he goes with his career. I'm not smart enough (or maybe too smart ) to make a prediction as to where he'll go!

I agree that Kris has talent. His performance Tuesday of "Ain't no Sunshine" was amazing! He just won't stand out on the radio, sadly.....

First, SHOCK of my life when Kris' name was called. I fully was expecting Adam, as were a lot of people. I guess all the Gokey, Allison, Anoop, Matt, etc fans all went for the Kris bandwagon. Looking back, the way Simon was kind of pimping votes for Adam, do you think he had access to the number of votes each week and saw that Adam was trailing Kris? Could be.

Adam will still do very well whether he won or not.

Yes, the Norm, Tatiana, and Bikini girl clips were extremely scripted. I thought they were funny, but Kara in a bikini.....not so funny.

Last night's finale was GREAT! I think it was the best season so far. The talent last night was tremendous. It was so much fun to watch all the singers and bands. Great night for TV.

I didn't want Kris to win. I voted for ADAM all the way!! But now I agree that Adam will be a megastar and he'll be able to get a contract with who he wants to. Kris will be bound by American Idol and will have to sing what they want him to sing.

After watching Kris sing with Keith Urban last night, maybe he might can make it in country music???

Yes he does suck in my opinion. I think Jordan sparks sucks too. Adam didn't get the popularity vote because of a few reasons, one being that they gave all the votes that gokey would have gotten to Kris and i heard this from more then one source. I also think that Adam being plastered over the internet the way he is could have hurt him in the end. Yes when america votes it does become a popularity contest, because if it was a true singing comp Gokey or alison would be sitting next to Adam and not Kris. I love Adam and i am not knocking Adam down at all i think he should of won and i wish it was up to the judges cause i can bet it would of turned a different way.

I totally agree with you. I have some friends who are ultra-conservative and they wouldn't vote for Adam because of his guyliner and his black fingernails, his 'look' and some even went as far to say the his version of "Ring of Fire" was evil!! LOL!! I thought it was great! They said that Danny and Kris were good church boys. Hmmm... funny, I heard Kris in an interview this morning saying he had been singing in bars before this. He never mentioned church.

I will be one of the first to buy Adam's CD!!

I don't think they were originally "plants", but I do think AI producers capitolized on thier goofyness!
