I own a small online gourmet beverage business that I run from my home. I work between 15-40 hours a week, depending on the time of year.

I work 2 1/2 hours a day as a campus aid at my childrens school. My 12 year old 6th grade dd doesn't mind, but my 13 year old 7th grade son hates it.

I voted for 11-24 hours a week outside the home, however that is all dependent on the school week and year. I work 3.75 hrs/day during school year.

I'm a salaried employee....I work at least 37.5 hours away from home. Then I come home and run my household. Come Monday mornings I'm ready to go back to work just so I can sit down and catch a break!

hashbug I hear you. You are where I was about 15 years ago. I was more busy then ,then I am now that I work two part-time jobs. I average about 20 hrs a week. When the kids are young that is the busiest time by far.

Spent 30 years in automotive manufacturing and then retired 3 years ago. I immediately went to work in advertising sales for a local free newspaper and since then we have started up a complimentary full color/glossy high end magazine in a neighboring community and I sell advertising sales for this as well along with attending alot of community events representing the magazine.

I'm having a ball and DH retired last year and is truly making headway on the honey-do list at home.

I "accidently" went back to work when my daughter was in kindergarten. I started working 2 hours per day at her elementary school as a recess monitor just to be nice to the principal. I worked my way to secretary and don't plan on going anywhere else for a long time. I love my job. I get to have June & July off to enjoy with my family. I guess it was just meant to be

During normal times, I work a little over 40 hours per week in the office. I work an additional 10-15 or so from home in the evenings and on the weekends. During peaks, that goes up by about 20%. I did not work as much (if any) from home when my kids were little and used my lunch break for errands. I don't do that anymore.

I work outside the home and I live for the day when it's no longer necessary. I go into peoples' home that don't expect me nor do they want me there. I enjoy the driving around and talking to people most of the time. But I would rather stay home and take care of my home, husband, family and animals and pamper myself.
