Question How to dry crawlspace completely?

We flooded two weeks ago. Have replaced air/heat unit and all ductwork.
Pulled all insulation out and took out black plastic moisture barrier which had been ruined by floodwaters.
Vents are open and have fan blowing into area from access door.

Anyone have any other ideas on how to get this dry.

Cannot reinstall insulation or barrier until it is dry down there.

This has been a long nightmare.

Can I make a suggestion from someone who has flooded??
I know it is expensive HOWEVER please call in a disaster clean up service... They have mold removers that are a MUST!

I believe you mentioned you had never had a flood before until a contractor started building homes across from you. Have you spoken with the contractor about the flooding? Were you the only ones flooded? Perhaps you need to speak to an attorney.

I agree with dannic, the mold problem could be huge and can affect your family's health.

Perhaps call a company that specializes in reducing moisture. Better to do it right, than halfway. That's why I'd be talking to an attorney if you think the building of those homes caused the flooding.
