I saw it on TV and didn't think it was funny. That said though, I don't think much Sasha Baron Cohen does is funny (with the exception of his voice in Madagascar movies). It was "too perfect" to have not been planned. I would have been pretty peeved as well. I don't want some guys butt in my face or face in my crotch so I think Eminem's anger was justified

I think it was planned on Cohen's part, but not on Eminem's. And frankly, if it had been me, I would have probably punched Cohen in his "private" area out of anger. I think, Eminem, handled it remarkable well (for Eminem). His anger was justified--Cohen is just disgusting and not funny!

I am not a fan of either one of them...Since Eminem is relaunching his career after a hiatus of a few years...this isn't surprising that someone would plan this for publicity. It just doesn't seem like the thing HE would participate in since it involves public embarrassment

I remember Howard Stern doing something similar years ago..probably a similar show...he flew in on a wire wearing a goofy outfit with chaps, with his butt hanging out. Although I don't think he landed on anyone...

I read about this last night when it broke news, but couldn't find a video of it not even on you tube ..I found it to be totally disgusting. I don't care if it was MTV or the Family Channel it was disgusting and totally tasteless IMHO. I don't blame Eminem for being upset. Who would want a bare ass planted in their face while being viewed by 1000's of people and fans.. I felt sorry for Eminem ( and I don't like him at all ). That has to be embarrassing.

What about Andy's opening segment where he dives into the outhouse dribble? THAT was gross! What about his nakedness with Justin in the limo? Sasha wasn't quite baring it all, it may have been a set up, etc... so what's all the fuss about? I still think it's hilarious. If someone is naive enough to not know that MTV might have something questionable on it then I don't know where they've been. Heck, I've seen more revealing stuff on soap operas. MTV + Sacha is going to have something risque on it. Viewer be warned!

It was totally staged with both parties privy to the stunt before hand. They both have a rep for the extreme and doing just about anything for pubilc attention. They both have something to promote and here we are doing what they want, talking about them.

I don't watch them but I do know there are some questionable things that happen so I can only speak of what I VIEWED. and I find it disgussting... as far as the rest of what you spoke of, one can only take that these things were WRITTEN Or had been PLANNED to be carried out in such a manner, however having a man bare ass and his penis sticking in you face when it's clearly NOT WANTED is not funny to me nor most people I would hope.Eminem clearly doesn't look as if this was something he wanted to happen and I don't blame him for being upset over it.I'm sure had he found it funny or something to laugh about he would have done so, but instead he walked out and was pissed over it.I'm sure you might have thought this was as funny as all get out, but I'm sure if a womans ass and her privates fell in your lap and face in front of your family and friends you would have rolled to the floor laughing No ?

Acutally, depending on the circumstances, I might laugh. Guess I'm not nearly as "repressed" as people on here think I am! Reminds me of the time I was down at my friends house with the 9 kids. I had on my hoodie and they were offering me a bunch of sweets and I lifted up my hoodie to show them my bulging gut and said "do I look like I need more sweets"? Lo and behold I forgot that without my bra on my 40d's hang pretty low and their 15 yr old daugher was right at eye level. Oh my gosh, we all laughed so hard and it was a joke for quite a long time!

Maybe thats why you can find some humor in this as you can relate somewhat to it, However, I'm not sure you might find someones butt and their penis in your face just as funny as showing off your boob . I have had slips before also. like the one concerning my son in law. Just happen a few days ago when he caught be in my t- shirt and panties I about DIED form embarrassments even tho he was in the fault for walking into my bedroom ( he thought i was on the computer ( but i was getting dressed ). I wish I could find out if it was staged. It makes sense that it is though because Sacha is promoting a film and E is promoting an album. Isn't it just too coincidental that he landed exactly in his lap like that? I guess Sacha could have planned it that way but I would think he would have had to at least have the approval of the MTV higher ups, especially since he had to be in that contraption and guided through the venue, etc.... I tend to feel it was planned. It made for controversy and that's exactly what everyone (Sacha, Mtv, E) likes for ratings, etc...

the strap is there, but one of this testicle slipped out of its clothing. You can see it.. I don't have prime cable so I'm not up to date on whats allowed and whats not allowed. So this was for prime cable viewing only ?. Or was it a show where everyone was able to tune into like the music awards ?.. Ok, my son did some research on this. He found out that Eminen knew that Bruno was going to be doing something to him but he didn't know that Bruno would be scantily clad, etc... That makes sense. However, if you know Sacha and agree to do anything with him, you have been warned! lol Sacha is not gay by the way. Bruno is one of his characters. Sacha is with Eileen Fisher (actress) and they have a daughter. I wonder if the "t" part was an accident. Like Janet Jackson at the Super Bowl!! lol

Actually I did not watch when it aired, however I just viewed it from youtube, and honestly I do not like either person either, however either way It was in terrible poor taste. I personally cannot see why eminem would permit this to happen just for a laugh....Peace. Catherine

Showtime is a pay cable network and Queer as Folk was on in the middle of the evening. MTV is not a pay cable network such as HBO, Showtime, Cinemax etc. It is usually included in the first or second tier of cable channels. There is quite a bit of difference as to what can be shown on MTV and Showtime or HBO.

Either way, it was in bad taste and although I think Eminem is talented, I find nothing redeeming about the other guy....I didn't find humor in his movie nor do I find humor in his comedy.

I personally don't find him hot or even funny for that matter. And that little pathetic stunt he pulled makes me glad I never liked him to start with. I'm still debating whether or not Eminem knew just what was going to happen, I do believe he may have known something, but I'm not totally convinced he knew it was going to be that. I find it sad that people like him thats has made a name for themselves would bring themselves to this kind of level to get attention. ( has everyone lost all their morals ? their common sense ? when they hit it big ).. Seems like the bigger they get the dumber they become.
i don't get it, I would have thought most would want their viewers to think better of them than this.. As far as Eminem goes, I can't say I have ever 'really" liked him alt ho he did put out a few good songs when he 1st started out. But on a personal level of a singer i would want to follow and buy CD of, nope can't say he's even been in the running for me.

Sacha is tall, dark and handsome!! Have you actually seen his picture? I'm not saying his characters are hot but he is! And as I've said before I don't really care for Bruno. I may see the movie but I may wait for cable tv. I saw Borat four times at the theater. Laughed my a** off everytime.

Kathy, I totally understand having a personal taste for someone, while others may not, what one person sees in a person can vary from person to person. Personally speaking if you or anyone does not know I love love love the actor Gary Oldman and find him extremely handsome some for his looks but mostly for the most gifted actors of our times. Also Kathy believe it or not I also find the other fine actor Christopher Walken in a strange oddly way good looking perhaps I am crazy but I also love him as well. Finally I have watched the movie The Bucket with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman and even though they are older I also find both of them handsome in their own ways. So in the end to each his or her personal views on who they find attractive... Peace. Catherine
