We had a 16 y/o boy killed, and two other juveniles seriously injured last night--all over a girl!

A 17 y/o male shot the 16 y/o multiple times (including shooting the kid when he was face down, bleeding to death)! He shot the other two as they were trying to get away. All over a 15 y/o girl! And the truly twisted thing is the shooter wasn't even dating or interested in the girl---but his friend was.

Sick, sick, sick!
And it's unclear whether the other two boys will survive the shooting.

That is an every day thing where I live.... Hell two 16 yr old kids shot a man over his rims...

Fortunately--this kind of thing doesn't typically happen here!
Having worked as a dispatcher here, I can tell you that it hardly ever happens here. We've lived here 5 years--and only had 3, maybe 4 murders here!

We lived in DFW metroplex--I know it happens. But it didn't use to happen here!

I live in a suburb of cleveland. However I work in Cleveland (primarlily the east side) and anyone familiar with the area knows that this is not the best part of town)
You know I just said to one of my co workers the other day how sad the news is lately. And the criminals are getting younger!!

that is such a waste. I really think kids today are so different then when we were growing up. They are always into something and not thinking or acting implusivly or something. Its a shame. around here they are into a fight about something then they are over it. and its like why even have a fight in the first place?? or they are fighting over a girl one week then the next they like a different girl.

I wish I could say XYZ is the reason why these kids are getting younger and deeper into trouble. I just read the other night about 2 Teachers that jumped on a 17 yo girl at a bar ( or social teen club can't remember which ) but they jumped her and really beat the crap out of her over a 17 year old boy 1 of the teachers was or is dating. ( I saw it on MNS or either Yahoo ). I think a lot has to do with what the child is being exposed to in their home or the people they are "hanging out with ". Then you have the parents out there that see no wrong in what lil johnny is doing or has done and that leads him to think he can get away with everything. It's such a mixed up world now compared to when we were children and teenagers.

A 16 yr old boy was beat to death while sitting on his bike. It is a every day occurance for someone to kill another here. We in Md were just rated number 2 in the country for murders.Last week a boy beat his mother to death with a metal baseball bat and I think it was over bacon.

"CLEVELAND -- Prosecutors have charged a 13-year-old Cleveland boy with a long list of neighborhood burglaries.



The eighth-grader is accused of breaking into 17 homes, stealing video-game consoles, laptops, flat-screen televisions and $3,040 in cash.

Authorities said he kept some of the goods for himself and sold the rest.

A judge on Thursday issued an arrest warrant for the boy, charged this week in Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court with 46 counts of burglary, theft and criminal damaging.

The spree infuriated Cleveland City Councilman Michael Polensek, whose Collinwood neighborhood was hit by the youth.

Polensek questioned why the parents of the boy allowed the behavior to continue. "

Very sad indeed, is it the economy doing this, is it the parents not raising children properly who knows, but it is more commnplace than you realize unfortuantely.

Marilyn has there been any updates at all on the kids? My thoughts and prayers to the affected families.

The other two boys are alive.
One boy's family has not share much w/ the media, the other had significant internal injuries: liver, spleen, lung, kidney (lost one), part of his head (will require plastic surgery) fractured femur, and fractured tibia--but he's alive.

Gosh those are some horrible injuries, and all over nothing. I dont know why kids are so much more violent these days for thinking someone is hitting on their girl etc. What happened to toilet papering houses, putting stink bombs in their school lockers you know things that dont hurt other humans? Or just plain not ever talking to them againand wlaking away
