I think that he probably had the cover before the show was even over.

Kris doesn't seem the type to "like" attention and the paparazzi---Adam, on the other hand is an attention seeker and likes putting on a show.

I am curious if any other Idol...winner or contestant...ever got a ROLLING STONE cover story. Seems like a huge deal....regardless if it was signed for beofre the end of the show or not.
As far as publicity or attention, I would think that ANYBODY who goes on a reality show, wants attention.

Now, that's not what I meant...

I think all performers like attention; however, some seem to seek it out while it "just happens" to others.

There are performers who do what they do, do their job (entertain) and try to live a normal life--Tim McGraw and Faith Hill for example. Rarely do you see them on the covers of the tabloids; even when they were the "IT" couple in Nashville.

Then there is Eminem--who likes attention and who allows his private life to be splashed all over the tabloids and he actually creates the chaos that makes headlines. I can't count how many times he's been on the cover for one reason or another.

I would be curious to know when it was decided that Adam got the cover, though.

I used to get a subscription to RS and I remember one where Clay Aiken was on the cover, and another with Ruben Studdard on the cover. Those were like, a month apart...

I do think getting the cover is a huge deal for him. He was American Idol runner up, but hasn't done anything musically yet (not enough time). He got the cover because of the "buzz" about him. I saw a picture of the cover, and the thing I don't like is they show a green snake between Lambert's legs. What's up with that and what might that symbolize?

I thought the cover was kinda cool.
I heard Lambert has a bad attitude though, not very accomidating towards fans . Kinda like he doesn't want to be bothered.
