We are leaving in a few hours for a trip from KY to CA. We are driving our motor home and taking our 16 year old grandson with us. We will be visiting friends and relatives, sight seeing and attending the National Square Dance Convention in Long Beach. We will see some things we have seen before and see lots of things that we have never seen. We will be able to see everyting thru the eyes of a 16 year old which will make for a wonderful trip! If I could I would send all of you a postcard but since I can't, I will try to figure out how to put pictures on here when we get back. I know we will see some beautiful parts of this great country!

Wonder what kind of gas prices you'll be running into out there... We've got a 78 gallon tank on our motorhome. I cringe everytime I see gas go up 10 cents a gallon overnight!

Here in So CA it's around $2.85/gallon right now. I'm about 30 minutes from their destination of Long Beach.

Wow! That's good! Better than I would have thought!
If we can stay under $250 a fill up we'll be doing good on our travels!

Thanks for the info. We're not coming West until next year. (Nevada will be as far as we get on that trip).

I totally thought it would be at least a dollar higher than we are here in Arkansas though. We're at 2.39 a gallon right now.
