Why are there so many personal attacks on here? Why do people feel they should be nasty to people who disagree with them? Or people who don't write as well as they should, etc...
I didn't read the piercing post from Catherine but I did read about her deleting it today. This is a perfect example. Catherine has a right to put a picture of her sons piercings on here. If she's proud of him, good for her. Just because she makes a post on here does not make it open season to bash her. Just because she put her kids pic on here does not mean it's open season for bashing her kid, if that happened.
Catherine has shared many personal things on here. We all know she has anxiety problems, is a sensitive soul, etc... I have no doubt she's doing the best she can. So why pick on her?
We need to conduct ourselves as mature adults on here. If you read her posts and you don't like them, don't reply to them. If you know you aren't going to like her threads, don't even read them. I have certainly not always agreed with her but so what? I don't need to pick her apart for that like some people do on here.
Can we all just be nice to each other????? No name calling, etc....
PS I know someone will no doubt come on here and say I call names, etc... but if you are going to go that route you better have proof, not inuendos.

Can't we all decide all by ourselves what we want to post here?

There are many posts/posters that I don't see eye to eye to. Also, I think posting such personal information is both dangerous and asking for *it*.

I was not referring to Catherine in particular. There are many people who post personal information. Often, those posts get interesting feed back.

If that's how you see it, that's fine.

I am confused...do posts 18 and 19 go together....because they appear to be schizoid....Everything alleged here is negated by post 19 where the poster gleefuly wants to start naming "bad" posters...and does exactly that.

Editing because I am now post 19... CL removed her post in which she started the list of naming those people who are not "nice" ---at least in her opinion and I don't want anyone to get confused

I thinks sometimes its just hard to tell the difference between playful posts , or just insensitive posts .In todays world I see so many people that use fighting as a friendly communication.I never played that game very well as its always been difficult for me to sense which it is.

There are a few of us who call it like we see it and are probably considered to be not nice by some or a lot of the more gentle women here. I count myself in that population (the call-it-like-we-see-it group, not the gentle ones ). But I definitely do NOT consider myself to be a negative person, nor to spew negativity all over the place. Not much negativity in my daily menus or deals and freebie postings...LOL.

As far as ILL is concerned, there seem to be no shortage of people who have reached their tolerance level with some of the behavior at one point or another and expressed their frustration, exasperation, or downright anger. There was a complete new group of women doing so in this morning's postings - none of those you would consider to be the "usual suspects". It is all to no avail, however. I read the piercing thread this morning up until the point that it was deleted....there was NOTHING in there that was negative against Tommy - NOTHING. No one picked on ILL's son at all....I don't think anyone can help how she interprets things; nor will she listen when they try.

I didn't see any pic. That would have made a bit more sense, though, in conjunction with the post.

I was just confused as to 1) what the discussion was supposed to be and 2) what was supposed to be commented on.

I'm sure if you had seen the post, you'd understand what I mean. It's harder now that it's gone. I don't think I was the only one confused. Certainly not bashing by any stretch of the imagination, just befuddled.

Thanks, but my hair is actually very curly. I had been to the salon for a cut that day and it was straight. Sometimes, it gets in my eyes when I straighten it, because it gets so silky it just falls that way. Glad you brought the quote back for a bit...lol
