thanks for the link. I browsed it briefly, and found some interesting things on there.

While not everyone agrees with what other people have to say about a particular candidate, I think it's important to keep sharing the information, even if it isn't something we want to read or believe about "our" candidate. For the record, NO, I am not saying Obama is MY candidate, I am speaking in general terms. No one wants to read something negative about their choice of candidate. It, hopefully, will spur discussion, and get us thinking outside of the box.

Keep it coming, EVERYONE!!!

ITA but, when a newbie has a total of 2 posts both anti-Obama or any other candidate for that matter it does make one wonder. I too browsed the site briefly and it is full of information I have read before along with a number of statements under "Obama Opinions" that are outright fallacies. I hope "John" enjoys his time here and adds a bit more to the discussion then a link to his website.

Don't be shock..alot of Obama fans on here.

But anyway..the truth sections on that site is true facts.
Opinions are of course just that.

Nope, not all of them. Some. This page is chock full of lies: https://protectthetruth.us/The_Democratic_Primaries.php

But the site is clearly biased towards HRC, so it's to be expected that there will be plenty of "misstatements." No doubt the author was "tired" when s/he wrote it "late at night" and so "made a few misstatements."

Ok, this was in the truth section, and clearly it is not. I'm not saying the whole sight is BS, but, I don't like things that can't be supported with accurate references.

In his twenties. This is copied from the truth sight, and I think we will ALL agree he is NOT in his twenties.

Excatly what on the truth sections is not true? Can you point them out?

Both Dem candidates have made "misstatements". (That is what both have said).

The Clintons have promoted equality for the blacks. Their black supporters left them.
Blacks have by an 8-2 margin supported a black candidate to a white candidate who has supported them – race based vote.
Whites have voted 5.5 – 4.5 for the white candidate – non racial based vote.
The black voters have set aside the principles and voted racially – Especially since the Clintons were always among the most respected people by the blacks.

Most of that I have seen in news articles all over the internet ..such as ABC, MSNBC, CBS, etc..

Of course the site in question is designed to be bias..with that in mind..from what I have seen compared to what is reported in the news..is pretty much the truth (with an apparent spin to it).

Edit to add: Obama's supports have to accept and expect that this type of stuff is going to get worse before it is over. If he wins the Democratic nomination you can expect alot more of this from the MCain campaign. Worst then what has been said the last couple of months.

Can someone please tell me where they get this information??? For example, when they say things about who supports who, etc??? Is this like the exit polls or what??? Are they calling people up and asking them this stuff??? I just don't see how these are accurate.

Exit polls, phone/ other surveys, political analyst,
Cacuses are easy because you see the person, who they support.

Are you saying because information on the site was on the "news" it's the truth. IMO, that's our problem. If we watch MSNBC, Fox, or CNN, for the most part we are being spun. The same can be said for the Sunday talking head shows. I honestly don't think we have any legitimate "news" any more. There are some legitimate news reporting done by journalists but unless you read the newspapers every day or follow such legitimate stories online by the time most of us hear about a story it's been spun to the point of unrecognition.

Most of what was on the truth page of the site was IMO opinion. The stats may have a kernel of truth in them but what's that old saying about figures don't lie but liars can figure.

As for Senator Obama having a tough time against Senator McCain if he wins the nomination, I expect he will. It's just too darn bad we had to spend the first hour of the debate last night going over what IMO was information and innuendo most voters had already heard and made their mind up about. Few or no questions on the economy, Iraq, global warming, gas prices, the mortgage crises, etc., etc.

Actually the debate might have helped Obama. If he could put to rest these "type" of questions by answering clearly... then he could prove that he can handle the "pressure" that McCain his going to give him.
I am not for sure if he came across effective enough to stop the attacks the Rep. will sling,
This is the major point that Hillary is making to the superdelegates.

"type" of questions..questions about his character, judgement issues. who you are close friends with,
Since there is not much difference between their ideas people are looking more at who they are not just their ideas to figure out who to vote for.

Interesting that you have a certain idea about the superdelegates. Since there are still primarys/ cacuses in several more states, why are the superdelegates being told by the Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean that he needs to know now how they are voting.
