| Who should be off-limits? Obama to Tennessee GOP: Lay Off My Wife - America’s Election HQ I think if a spouse (or anyone) that actively campaigns and gives speeches, etc are fair game. There are some spouses that do not actively campaign so I do see them as being off-limits. I certainly can understand that Obama wants to protect his wife. BUT she is actively campaigning so it is not unexcepted that people would use what she said (in a speech) against her. |

Children should be off limits. I agree, the spouse is fair game, if he/she is actively campaigning.

Small children, off limits. Adult children who campaign not off limits. Past medical/addiction problems (Cindy McCain) off limits. Spouses who actively campaign not off limits. Tax record releases of spouses (Cindy McCain and the Clintons) not off limits. I frankly could give a flying flip about the tax release business but such a big deal was made about Teresa Kerry making her records public I'm in the good for the goose, good for the gander mode on this one. |
