Question spinoff - mccain's vp list

someone mentioned the Gov of Alaska is on his list. I'd like to know what his supporters think about a woman being his vp given the fact that he holds women in very little regard? I would be suspicous of it myself, however, I could more readily understand him taking the Louisana governor. I forget his name.

Anyway, I'm rambling. still on meds. But I'd really like to know what you McCain supporters think about it.

Bobby Jindal is the governor from La. Huckabee and Romney sure seem to want the job. It really should go to Lieberman or Graham.

I wouldn't be surprised that he has a woman on his VP list. Why do you say he holds women in very little regard? In fact, McCain has more women on his staff than men and pays them higher than Obama. Obama pays the women on his staff approximately $6,000 less than the men on his staff.

Remember when I mentioned how he called his wife a trollop and c... in front of reporters? That to me is extremely indicative of his regard toward women. I would never be married to a man who talked to me like that, much less work for one, you know? And from what I know of you (which admittedly isn't much) I doubt you would either. There's his dismal record on reproductive rights, but you and I disagree on that one. (wow, isn't that a huge understatement, lol)
He voted against legislation to get women equal pay, etc.
But anyway, I'm not trying to bash or whatever on this particular thread, just wondering what your opinions are about his (possible) choices.

Or Zell Miller.

Or is he dead yet?

The good news is that Zell would make McCain look (1) young and (2) rational.

Here is a current list of possible McCain VP that was listed on CBS today.

VP Hot Sheet: Top 10 GOP Contenders, - CBS News

The more I read about Governor Sarah Palin I am more impressed with her. She does not have much experience, so I really do not think McCain will pick her. Out of all his "listed" choices, I like her best.

As far, as McCain talking to his wife the way he did...that is something that his wife should have dealt with. Not anyone else. Same way I think Hillary puts up with way too much from her husband.
