I always vote. I have missed very few elections. There have been a couple of local, one issue events that I have forgotten about, but mostly I vote, my husband votes, and most of the time our daughter votes. My son probably votes as well. He lives elsewhere but he always voted when he was home, so I assume he still is. I don't feel anyone has the right to complain if they don't vote and I do love to complain. 8-)

I never miss an election. I started working the polls when I was in 3rd grade and eventually became a precinct committeeperson.

Like Wildwood, I feel you can't complain unless you vote, and I like to complain, too.

Yes, I'll be voting. We should exercise that right as much as possible, IMO.

I always vote, and DH will do an absentee ballot like he did last time deployed....I'm one of those people who feels if you don't vote you don't have any right to complain.....

I always vote. Like others, I agree that you have no right to complain if you don't.

I vote every time. If we've learned anything in the past two elections, it should be that every vote matters.

I'll certainly be voting. Not thrilled with the choices but got to pick one anyway.

Given the nature of this board, I guess the answers were to be expected..lol.

Only those interested in politics will be coming here and I would be surprised if there are many here who don't vote most of the time.

Definitely will be voting. DH and I vote in EVERY election. I feel like if a person doesn't vote, then they don't have the right to complain afterwards!! Not too thrilled with anyone really that's running. So guess it's a wait and see thing. Surely someone has something new to offer us but I haven't seen it yet. Just the same old thing.

The least I can do for those that put their lives on the line in defense of democracy is participate in it. I'll be voting and dragging my DH with me.

Of Course I'll be making my vote count!

As already said: The people who are already reading this board are interested in politics, and most-likely care about making their vote count. But what if, each of us find about 5-other Americans who usually don't vote, and get them interested in making their vote count also? (That's my personal goal for the '08 Election.)

I liked this line, and also wanted to bump this post up.....can't believe the Election board has been "up" for almost a year. I think this was the 3rd post on the board.

Not necessarily looking for answers, just wanted to get this line read again.

Since the day I turned 18 I have NEVER missed a vote....never a national, state, local or even school board vote. This year, next year and as long as I live and have the faculties to do so, I will vote.
