I pulled this from another thread the original poster was HuntersMom. I thought this was interesting, but deserved its own thread. My state (Idaho) got the national average. B -... I think that is fair. Utah got the best, an A and I also think that's well deserved. One thing I wish our state did was take away the state tax on groceries. They give everyone a $20 credit, but when you are a family of 5, the credit for food should be SO much more. It should actually reflect what we spend in taxes for food.
That's really my only beef that I can think of right now with our state govt.

Shame on my state, C+. We've had a significant change in the State House and Senate in the past year though so perhaps we'll do better in the future.

What surprises me is that the only State with a D+ is New Hampshire - They get a D+ in managing their own state and yet we value their opinion so highly in the primary?
