Oh, I know they've both misspoken. HOWEVER, I seem to remember the republicans here, in blogs, and on Fox news going on and on and on about Obama's mistakes. Let's just sweep McSame's under the rug, shall we?

He's visiting that part of the world and has probably been doing his homework to be ready to make speeches over there. He's probably been seeing the number '57' and the word "states" side by side as he reads up on the region more than he sees the number '50' beside the word 'states'.... so it'd be pretty easy to make that mistake for him right about now.

JMHO - I think it's bordering on petty to point out candidates verbal faux pas. I understand that everyone wants to put their favorite in a good light and the opposition in bad, but they are both making mistakes; mostly out of sheer exhaustion. I don't think it has to do with not doing homework, or not knowing what they are talking about. If you only got, MAYBE, 4-6 hours of sleep a night day after day after day you would make mistakes too. We should take it for what it's worth, a blunder, and let it go. |

| How do you tell a blunder from ignorance? McCain has also referenced a no-longer existent country, Czechoslovakia, several times and confuses Sunnis with Shiites on a regular basis. He doesn't know whether he supports health insurance covering birth control and couldn't remember that he skipped a vote on the Kyl-Lieberman amendment that he criticized Obama for missing. When is it a blunder, when is it ignorance and when is it proof that McCain is too old for the presidency? |

I guess when you and the liberals say it is! I mean, you guys are the only ones with the correct answers on this board, right? (or so you think!)

| That's so funny b/c I was thinking conservatives had it all wrapped up w/ all the judging yall do.

Why, thank you! And you know, I must say I was thinking the very same of you. You always know when to put a jab in when you have nothing to say! |
