| warm and feely?
Why do politicians feel it necessary to shake a mans hand and do the little shoulder pat, but with a woman it's a hug? Hillary had it happen to her Palin has it happen too. It's just an observation on my part. I will shake hands with my boss, people I meet and deal with but I would never even think of hugging any of them and would probably pop them one if they tried. I hate people touching me. Hugs are meant for my family and close friends, handshakes for everyone else. I wonder how the politcal world would spin it if Hillary and Sarah simply extended their hands and did a little shoulder pat? I know that on occasion it is a simply handshake but it seems more and more it is a big ole hug. I know that I insisted that when my daughter was little that she didn't hug any relative unless she was comfortable doing so and just because they may have been my cousin it didn't give them the right to put their hands on her. I don't know it's just my opinion and I could be wrong but it seems a little demeaning to me, like a pat on the head
