With how important this election is i am amazed on how little people are talking about the real issues.

I mean I keep on hearing people saying WOW this election will make history either the first black president or the first woman vice president in American history.

With issues like the war in Iraq witch is costing us a huge ammount of money not to mention the number of men and women we are loosing every day in Iraq with no real end of that war in sight if things stay the way they are now.

With the econemy, how the markets could crash any day and now the banks are in real trouble the gouvernment is now wanting to give them a $700 billion bail out in the form of what might as well be a blank check. Why should we pay for the banks mistakes?

Sorry if i stept on any toes but i am really concerned that the issues are not being taken into consideration as much as they should be

What are some more issues you all can think of that should be considered issues of importance?

The most important issue to me should be changing our monetary policy.
We need to be talking about how a fiat money system always fails and what the country could do to get back to sound money prinicple.
Without getting control of the money sytem nothing else really matters. The US is sinking fast.

The issues are not being even considered. I want to know the opinions on Stem Cell research, which can help alot of people. Why the push for off shore drilling after all these years, we won't see any results for at least 10 years. What are we going to do about immigration.

I agree. We can forget about the talking points of almost any other issue right now. If the money isn't there none of them will matter.
