Question Not a bailout or a rescue plan but now a buy in?

What ever it is they are now calling it a buy in. So what is it?

It's a big mess, that's what it is.

I'm going to be reading the 110 pages today to see if I can make heads or tails out of it, but from what I listened to this morning, it looks like they hashed out a bunch of stuff that will help to protect the tax payers a little.

Democrats got many concessions in bailout - Economy in Turmoil - MSNBC.com Is a recap of what the bill includes.

We do get a stake in the investments purchased. However, I don't see how the CDOs will ever have a value higher than zero. At least we're not payong face value.

MSNBC headline .....why does this not surprise me lol!

"Democrats got many concessions in bailout
But GOP held fast to not tying $700 billion proposal to homeowner relief"

I believe it's the House Republicans who put the brakes on this thing. If Democrats believe the only plan that will save the economy is the Paulson plan, they can go ahead and pass it stuffed full of Acorn payola. They don’t have to have Republican votes to get it done.

If this ****ing bailout is so ****ing great why don't the socialists just go ahead and pass the bill?

Democrats never supporter the Paulson plan. The bill that came out of the finance committee looked nothing like the Paulson bill.
