Before everyone gets bent out of shape about the fact that this starts with a Huffington post, and the clip has a commentary from the Young Turks, ignore it if it disturbs you. I only want us to concentrate on the question by Couric and the answer by Palin.

Clearly, she is not up to be VP. I feel for her because she is out of her league here. I think that they have pumped her with all the important things that the voters want to hear and she spits them out one after another stringing them together so she gets to say all of them.

Like, Middle East question? Say something about 9/11,, say something about Democracy, something about oil, something about Americanx something abiout terrorism and you have an answer.

What the McCain platform is doing is using her. They have thrown her to the wolves because they have to know what she is saying is looking so silly. McCain defends her and I saw an interview with him where he says that he hasn't seen anything, ANYTHING, anywhere, ANYWHERE, where it could be thought that the public doesn't think she is ready for this office. He said that she is the most popular Gov and the American people love her ideas or something like that. He is either reading the same media she is (none) or he is lying to himself.

She is trying to say that the "elite" media is doing this to her. No one can change what comes out of your mouth. Editing can make a difference but after watching as many clips as I have seen of her speaking both in formal interviews as well as off the cuff politicing I am pretty sure that editing has nothing to do with this. I don't believe she is stupid or ignorant at all. I think she is a person who was surprised to be tapped for the VP slot and someone who has just lived in her world and until the last six weeks was not even interested in what went on outside of Alaska.

Who is coaching her? Why do they keep letting her talk? I think my 18 year old coiuld give better answers to the questions than she has. Seriously. WTH?
