Someone will try to claim that it is a done deal because on one of Obama's site he has a posting of a certificate.
But if that is so WHY hasn't Obama provided it to the courts.

No, there isn't a shred of proof of anything you say. There is an actual birth certificate that has been held by Newsweek and Factcheck. (Factcheck has photos)

I wonder if people on the right would be so willing to buy into these ludicrous conspiracies if Obama was white.

If Obama was not born in the US, someone would have proved it already. Plus Barack is smart enough to know that if he wasn't born in the US that is would eventually come out. So yes this beating a dead horse is drivel.

Interesting clip --- Why doesn't Obama release those records? Why is he fighting the case instead of just giving the requested documents and stopping the lawsuit?

Obama supporters will go on and on about how McCain was at the bottom of his Annapolis class...What WAS Obama's class ranking? Is that why he won't release the documents...just a thought.

Makes people like me, on the fence, wonder what he is hiding.

thank you for the HONEST thoughts you posted. There is NOTHING wrong with seeking out the truth, and wondering why or why not?

Rather than trying to get to the bottom of something and dig for facts, people seem to just want to say "oh, he's so wonderful......that could NEVER be true". This coming from both sides. They all have blemishes.

This has indeed just turned into a big mud slinging fest by the majority here.

We have genuine questions that need to be answered. We have every right and pretty much an obligation to ask them. . .but we're racist for doing so. It's the standard Obama supporter reaction.

And frankly, I think it's getting pretty sad. Obama is not above anything! I said that I thought ALL candidates should have to provide a birth certificate when they file for office. How in the hell is that being racist???

I'd like to know if there is ANY other candidate that hasn't provided his birth certificate when asked. I know McCain provided his. Obama doesn't get special treatment because he is bi-racial. The same rules apply to him as everybody else.

RACIST???? Are you out of your everloving mind? Questioning whether he was born in the US, hence is a US citizen has nothing to do with race! If he were a one-eyed, one-horned flying purple people eater--and people questioned his citizenship status because his mother was from Mars and his dad was from Venus, would you still claim racial bias?

Honestly? I think the birth certificate issue is a non-issue. I have to presume that people with more time, energy, and money than I have researched this, and there's nothing there. But to scream racism is just ludicrous!

I totally agree. Crying racism in that statement is what she viciously throws at others: stupidity. The only thing she's getting better at is constructing complete sentences instead of 1 word or 1 line staccato insults. So many of the things truble pounds out on the keyboard suit her very well and yet she flings it at others with venom.
