I will have to check more later but I have been seeing this stuff on only liberal sites this morning.

But..it doesn't change anything about Obama's tax plan.

Of course the liberals are going to try to say he was a plant. He asked Obama a question and Obama answers it. He put Obama on the spot and Obama finally came out and said what his tax plan will do. Why anyone would vote for Obama after listening to the answer he gave Joe the plumber is beyond me.

And even if he was a plant, Obama still gave "his" answer. Nobody put words in his mouth.

Just think it ALL the way through before you vote.

Did you forget that is the Democrat controlled Congress that had to approve the "rescue plan"?

Also do not forgot that it was Obama's personal phone calls to several Dem members of the house of repesatives to change their vote to yes.

No, this was not the work solely of the Republican President..he got lots of help from a Dem. Congress.

I did fight against the bailout by calling emailing my Senators and Rep. My Rep.(Republican) did both times vote against the rescue pan.

"On Thursday, Obama held a conference call with a group of freshmen Democratic House members to press them to support the bill. He reportedly made a strong pitch to members of the Congressional Black Caucus—which accounted for a dozen of the changed votes.

On Friday, a number of the 32 Democratic representatives who switched their votes to support the legislation cited Obama’s appeal in explaining their decision."

US House backs Wall Street bailout Democrats credit Obama with shifting vote

How soon we forget about McCain 'stopping his campaign to help' with the bailout (rescue if you prefer) AND VOTED FOR THE BAILOUT PLAN. What about all the Republican Congressmen who voted yes for this also. Bipartisan as I recall.

It is hardly fair to say this was mostly done by Dems in congress.

OBAMA/BIDEN ALL THE WAY

I was trying to point out to the poster I was responding to that you can not blame this (bailout, rescue plan) solely on the Republican President.
But the fact is that Democrats contol the Congress right now..nothing would pass unless they voted for it.
Yes, Obama and McCain both voted for this bill that became law.

Yes, Obama and McCain both voted for this bill that became law.
And nothing would get past a Bush veto without Republican help, either.
