The Electoral College

Here is the map, showing current polls.

Electoral-vote.com: President, Senate, House Updated Daily

The biggest surprise for me is ND is leaning blue. ND hasn't gone for a Democrat for president since LBJ in 1964. Obama pulled out his campaign team months ago, because he wanted to concentrate on Minnesota instead of investing energies in sure losers, which ND looked like.

This map changes daily because the polling data changes daily.

It looks like NC went from tied to barely Dem. Interesting. Maybe it is those nasty robocalls the Repubs have been doing. I have received 2 so far. Its funny though I had to listen to the news to find out what they said. The silly people didn't take into consideration that most folks will not answer calls where the number is restricted. So the recordings are almost over by the time the mailbox starts recording. Waste of money. LOL. I only heard the last 15 seconds or so of the calls and most of that was them saying who the call was from(RNC and McCain). So most of their message is lost LMAO.

So for those of you who only trust info from your own party.

electoral college by a repub

Wow, they aren't very optimistic. Looks like they predict a dem defeating my state's republican senator and a victory for the dem governor of Washington state.

Interesting site -- thanks for posting.

Are you in WA? I couldn't fing the Reichart/Brunner race on there. It just came out yesterday that Brunner lied on her resume. She's been campaigning on the fact that she has a Harvard degree in Economics. It turns out that she doesn't. She does have a Harvard degree, but it's in computer science.

I think Gregoire is going to "officially" lose this time. A lot of people aren't very happy with her, even people that voted for her last time. She screwed education that she so heavily campaigned for last election. Most Dem teachers I know say they won't vote for her again, I don't know if they will vote for Rossi, but they say they won't vote for her.

No, Oregon. I was speaking of the Merkley/Smith senate race. Too bad (IMO) about Governor Gregoire -- is Mr. Rossi still hiding his GOP ties? Why do people insist on fibbing about something that anyone with any sense would know will come out at some point, just stupid.

That's what I was wondering too. Apparently Brunner has done it before. In some other race she said (I think actually wrote in the voter's pamphlet) that she was a Microsoft executive. . . turns out she was just middle management. I don't think she has a chance in hell against Reichart anyway, but she sure ruined any future chances with this too. Stupid. . .just stupid.

Pollster just moved Georgia and Montana into the toss up column. I can't believe that. Pollster.com - 2008 Election Polls, Trends, Charts and Analysis

I checked the update today, and saw the results of the poll from yesterday. Unlike this site, the respondents there were 80% male, although admittedly definitely democratic in majority.
