| Obama making BIG plans
I guess it will be one h**ll of a celebration party OR a pity party. Obama Camp Plans Major Celebration in Chicago on Election Night - FOXNews.com Elections "But at least he knew for certain then that when the ballgame was over -- he was going to be the Democratic candidate for president. Now, with the Nov. 4 general election still 12 days away, the front-running Illinois senator is planning an Election Night celebration that could put his Invesco Field party to shame. A huge stage is being constructed in Chicago's Grant Park, where Obama hopes to declare victory before a cheering throng that could dwarf the one at the Democratic convention. Back then, "only" 80,000 fans were in attendance that night. This time, it could be hundreds of thousands in the park and its surroundings -- closer to Berlin in July than Denver in August. The Chicago Sun-Times reports the price tag of the fanfare has been pegged at $2 million, to be picked up by the Obama campaign." |

Well, the only Pity Party planned for that night is for McCain. He has worked hard for this day, it will be an historic occasion and he will deserve to celebrate. And, boy, do you sound jealous!

| Ummmmm, didn't YOU just try to LECTURE ME of letting posters speak for themselves? Pretty hypocritical of you....but not surprising considering the source.

I no pity , no worry, because like I said so many times before, but I will say it again. Our country needs a change, and change is on his way, by the names of Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Its 11 days to a severe much due change in our country.Who in their right mind, would want another 8 years of what the Bush Administration has done to us, literally with the ecomony at a all time low. So many people being fired left and right. No one can be approved for a mortgage, no one can afford a home. No one can sell their home or at least come close to making hopefully a profit. Gas prices here in New YorK State , hit a time high of 4.69 and of course the Iraqi war, where again we did not belong, and over 4500 American citizens have lost their innocent lives. So I say let Obama have the biggest, huge most special party to celebrate his victory. The victory will happen, I only wish the late Dr. Martin Luther KIng was alive to witness this memoris occassion...Obama and Democrats have two things to celebrate, we will be making history as having our first Black African American President elected into office, Secondly we will have change a much much needed change so over due...Good Bye Bush..... I kinda hope Obama wins now. It will be so fun watching the nashing of teeth when he won't be able to carry out anything he has promised. Did Clinton give you healthcare? Did Bush give us less taxes and smaller government?? Nope. The only thing we are going to get is bigger government.

Ok Hambirg I am truly trying to keep it nice... All I am saying is that if I want him Obama to win is that he deserves as much as any other politican to have a huge victory party plain and simple... Did Bush put our country into such deep depression. Did Bush, get richer, did he not invaded a country where there was no proof of weapons of mass destruction. Did he not cause soooooooo many business;s to go out of business. Did he not make so many people loss and continue to loss their jobs..Was he not at fault for the ecomony we are in now. How about all the people whom are struggling to buy a home or sell their home and finally are you not living in the United States, because here hon our gas prices to run our cars, to get to work, was 4.59.. How much was yours... Please please you cannot admit any wrong doing by our president Bush????/ CAtherine

I just said Bush gave us higher taxes and bigger government!!! I am not a Bush supporter. . .never voted for him. I don't blame him for all the things listed above. . .that would just be silly, as he is only one man and it leaves out the responsibilty of the Congress. The point of my post is that it is funny that people think Obama is actually going to do any of the things he promises. Listen to what his supporters say. . .he's going to change the world. You know he promised the people of Illinios a lot of things too when he ran for Senate. . .he didn't make good on them. What makes you think that will change now? Go ahead and vote for him. . .I think it is going to make little difference who gets in now. They are at the mercy of the World Bank. . .UN. . .NATO. . . You should really watch the David Icke piece. . . .at least the first half hour. Don't worrry. . .he is very much a Bush hater, against the war in Iraq, etc. . . I'm sure you will agree with alot that he has to say.

This article is one of the most honestly written articles about how we got into this mess. I do want to point out that it is written by a Democrat. Meridian Magazine:: Ideas and Society: Would the Last Honest Reporter Please Turn On the Lights? "Editor's note: Orson Scott Card is a Democrat and a newspaper columnist, and in this opinion piece he takes on both while lamenting the current state of journalism." |

Ok Hambirg to you if you do not like Bush and you do not like Obama , yet you want McCain to win , Correct, then its the same our country will be ran by a Republican and McCain has supported Bush all the way, so what makes you think anything will change. Listen I try to speak the truth and admit fault I cannot promise Obama will make a wonderful president. I cannot promise he will cure all the problems. However for me again, the bottom line is I am a Democrat and I want to see a change plain and simple. Edit to say Hambirg if I said something about your post that was not correct, I apologize... Peace. CAtherine

To Forrestlayne, I agree with you our problems started before 8 years ago. I have already expressed my views on ex president Clinton whom I did and love as a president, however towards the end, with all his private life mistakes, it just got way to much for me to handle. How can I trust a man to be my president . When in fact he appeared on national television and openly lied to us about it all. Now with that being stated. We come fast forward to George Bush who has led us country for the last 8 years and it only got worst, in my personal views he made it so bad, it has become way to much for me to stand it..Bottom line things were bad prior to 8 years ago, However there was so improvement from Bush, so whom else am I suppossed to blame???. Hambirf, I sincerely support your views and sincerely hope you may extend to me the same. Honestly again I will admit the truth no matter who comes into office, while I want it to be Obama time will tell. Again to be totally honest, we are in a huge mess and whomever comes in as a huge mess on their plates and hands. I never ever said I did not like McCain , I am just againist him or rather not for him, because he is a Republican plain and simple. Did you happen to catch him on the View... Ouch those ladies are fighting so much. I am saddend that while Michelle Obama appeared, I think Obama should have done the same. Again I will admit I did enjoy McCain on the David Letterman show as well... So I will say just to you and anyone else about our different views on to whom to be the new president. We must agree to disagree and end it with that... and hopefully soon we will have peace in this beautiful place we call home America.... Catherine
