Not To Be Missed

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is going to introduce Sarah Palin at some rally today.

It's like an SNL sketch. Can't wait to watch it.

Yes, and it's on You Tube now as well. Elisabeth called herself "sassy," which should give you a feel for what it was like.

Barbie and Skipper play politics. They even have all the cool clothes! Palin, as usual, engaged in hyperbole and lies.

We have to cut her some slack, her SAT scores were not that high. She doesn't have a lot to work with, bless her heart.

And she was so eloquent during her speech! Not....

The only thing I heard her talking about was the $150,000 clothes again.

That's pretty superficial. If all you can say to support your candidate is that the other side is jealous, you don't have much worth saying.

BTW, there are other conservative women running in this election. Elizabeth Dole, for example. Of course, she is also losing.

I definitely see politics in Ms. Hasselbeck's future! (I also do NOT see her The View contract being renewed!)

I agree -- she's every bit as qualified to be VP as Sarah Palin is, that's for sure.

Truble,
I just noticed your signature line but I didn't read it right. I thought it said....

Proud Obama supporter from the "real Vagina."

I was eating grapes and almost choked on one. I was like "oh, really". With all the vagina talk in another thread, it seemed to fit.

Tisk tisk Would that even be allowed on FOX?

Cheer up, the next stage for you is depression, but acceptance will soon follow.

Not to mention the fact McCain could still pull it off.

Palin A "Whack Job," Top McCain Adviser Says

Quote:
One of John McCain's advisers recently called his running mate Sarah Palin a "diva" after she went off-script at a rally, and suggested she was looking after her own political future over the current campaign. Now another adviser ups the ante in a conversation with the Politico's Playbook, labeling Palin a "whack job."

Last I checked, Elizabeth H. wasn't running, thus she is not my "candidate." Moreover, I never said the word jealous or even insinuated jealousy. Superficial is a great description - of the comments made in this thread. The liberal comments are clearly petty and immature, but that's usually the case when it involves liberals discussing conservative, attractive women. JMHO, of course. I don't base my worth on your opinions, thankfully.

Really. . .who cares?

Did you ever see the Diddy video? How about Scarlett Johansson? At least Hasselbeck has a college education.

HASSELBACK. I literally cannot stand her at all, she is such a trouble maker and will do nothing to continue to voice her views on the election.I would be very happy to see her go and if she thinks Palin is so wonderful and qualified then Elizabeth should move to Alaska, because when Novemver 4th comes and goes Sarah will be going home. I am totally surprised she has been allowed to stay on as long as she has she is a typical right winged conservativ who needs to lighten up a bit....Its one thing to have a view on the election its another to get so nasty and and so vile and she will not let let up. BUt she Elizabeth as a wake up call coming soon on 11/4/08 when Obama gets elected.....Catherine

So it's ok that the other 4 on the show are liberals, right? It's okay, they have their say, right? So freedom of speech only applies to liberals, right? Hey Catherine - I think you should stop posting here, I don't like your liberal views. Better yet, why don't you leave the board all together? All you do is continue to voice your views on the election. Who do you think you are?

If you can't see the sarcasm in that remark, please move along. If you can't see the hypocricy in yours, you're a lost cause.

Tracilm us liberals are not immature at all. Now with that said if you think Elizabeth Hasselback and Saraj Palin whom are ultra conservative and classy I so beg to differ. They are not, Governor Palin does not have what it takes to be our new vice president plain and simple. I have said this before I know for me personally before this election I never ever heard of the women. For someone who is suppossed to be so conservative, well I find that hard to believe after all she does hunt and kill animals correct??? I now all have seen the picture of her and her younger dd standing over the caribou she killed. Now getting back to ELisabeth Hasselback I have totally had enough of her talking, she goes run through me when she speaks. I would much rather be the easy going liberal and pretty women I am. I am surprised Hasselback as lasted as long as she has on the view, because all the other women shut her down over and over again, when she tried so hard to bring her points across, which of course never makes any sense... Well, Elizabeth is not my cup of tea, however I really do give her credit. She IS the youngest on the panel and the only conservative. She has held strong to her beliefs and not backed down or been intimidated. When I earlier stated that I see a future in politics for her, I was being totally serious. She is well-spoken, strong-minded, is well-known by the public, and, in this culture a big, huge plus--she is also attractive. She also has a husband who is an athlete. She is custom-made for a political career. Her values are not mine, and I would never vote for her, but I do think that politics is her destiny and she will be successful in the Republican party. I also do not think she and the powers that be at The View will be putting up with each other much longer..and it will be a mutual decision. No insider info or anything, just seeing the writing on the wall. Elizabeth will be getting plenty of offers elsewhere after her run there is over.

WTH??? So now conservatives don't hunt? I guess Ted Nugent didn't get that memo.
