Obama's Received Questionable Campaign Contributions?

So it seems that Obama's campaign doesn't like to play by the rules with the FCC.

Apparently about half of his contributions received are raising eyebrows.

I just came across this story on the Toledo Blade website that was published in early Oct. I took a look back through the archives here and didn't see it mentioned.

toledoblade.com -- Hunting Mr. Good Will

Just who is Mr. Goodwill and Mr. Doodad Pro? Apparently they both have the same job... "Loving You". When told to refund this money, only part was refunded, not enough to bring it below the allowable maximum.

Makes me wonder...

Side note: I ran into a man who was my teacher in high school. He has been a staunch democrat his whole life. He said that this year he voted for McCain because the money issue with Obama makes him very nervous. He said he has thought and thought about it and really has to wonder if the he may be on to something. He noticed that the cost of gas has gone up side by side with the campaign. His suggestion was that through Obama's questionable connections this was orchestrated to pad his coffers. His theory is that the oil companies are taking a piece of the pie off the top, sending it overseas, where it is in turn used as contributions for Obama's campaigns.

We are talking about a very smart man here, who is so uneasy with the candidate that he has crossed party lines to vote. I find that interesting.

I find that anecdotal and meaningless. I know people who have been Republicans their whole lives who are voting for Obama because of McCain's utter lack of honor in the conduct of his campaign and of his reckless selction of Spendthrift Socialist Sarah as his VP pick.

So I guess I win, huh?

Not really. . .

Considering you really don't have any idea where all this big money has come from for your candidate, you won't really know who will be pulling his strings if he's elected.

Pot, meet kettle. Where is McCain's money coming from? The Keatings? That's where Cindy's comes from, in part, and she's certainly been helping to finance his campaign.

Look up where McCain's money is coming from in the database on his website. They have full disclosure there.

It's the smaller donations that have caused the most problems. McCain has had his share of questionable donations as well.

Yeah, but it's Obama's campaign that lowered the security settings on their online donations. Your address didn't have to match the one on your credit card. People have been reporting contributions that they didn't even make. Better check those credit card receipts.
