McCain's name not found @ Palin rally

CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive - McCain’s name nowhere to be seen at Palin rally - Blogs from CNN.com

Quote:
At a boisterous Sarah Palin rally in Polk City, Florida on Saturday afternoon, one name was surprisingly absent from the campaign décor — John McCain’s.

Looking around the Fantasy of Flight aircraft hangar where the rally took place, one could see all the usual reminders that it was a pro-McCain event. There were two large “Country First” banners hung on the walls along with four enormous American flags meant to conjure the campaign’s underlying patriotic theme. Many of the men and women in the audience wore McCain hats and t-shirts.

But on closer inspection, the GOP nominee’s name was literally nowhere to be found on any of the official campaign signage distributed to supporters at the event.

Members of the audience proudly waved “Country First” placards as Palin delivered her stump speech. Those signs were paid for by the Republican National Committee.
Apparently his followers and VP choice have forgotten he's even around.

Right. You do know that even when he's not there, he's still supposed to be #1, not #2?

Wonder if Obama knows that, since it took weeks for anything to show up in the Obama store with Biden's name on it...Even on his signs Biden's name is shaded in Blue so Obama's shows more.... Obama has had to reign Biden in, because he cant open his mouth without saying something stupid.....if elected he will be a nobody, laughing stock VP like Dan Quayle....Sherri

Um, WHAT??? Obama's all over the signs because he's the top guy. The point is that only Palin was on the Florida signs. You seem to be missing something.

As for stupid and a laughing stock -- let me know when Joe Biden gets taken by a couple of Canadian radio guys like your gal just did.

Obama, the candidate, has his name more prominently than his running mate!!! OMG!!

That is . . . .

That is . . . .

Well . . .

That is entirely expected.

When hasn't the presidential candidate's name been more prominently than the vice presidential candidate?

This is idiocacy.

The point was made that apparently McCain followers and VP had forgotten about him and I was saying, that no they hadnt>>>DUH>>>Thats what I meant about signs with his name all over them....As soon as McCain announced Palin...there were things in the store with both their names on it....It took Obama awhile to get Biden's name on anything...Maybe he was having second thoughts because everytime he opens his mouth he says something stupid. McCain followers Love Palin.....Ever seen a Biden appearence...not nearly the crowd as Sarah draws...As for the radio thing..I havent read about it...but I am SURE if they can take Palin they would have made a huge laugh with Biden....Sherri

No, that's wasn't the point. AT ALL. So, DUH right back at you. Thanks for telling us what you meant, though, since it's sometimes hard to figure out what you mean.

McCain followers may love Palin, but I wonder how many Palin followers actually love McCain. Ever seen an McCain appearance . . . not nearly the crowd Obama draws.
