Funny stuff on the internet. Where do you all find things like this? Is there some private conspiracy club? I have money for the dues.

I believe that these were built to house illegal aliens. From what I understand, they even have orange jumpsuits for babies.

Are they really expecting to round up that many illegal aliens? And why would that having anything to do with FEMA?

I wonder what they're planning to do with all of these.:

I am leaning toward believing that the camps might be used for the people that are living in tent cities because of foreclosures. Sooner or later with all the layoffs more people will be losing their homes.
In the Great Depression years states and the federal government ran "poor farms/poor houses". There was also the C.C.C. camps.

Another thought is that in case of a nuclear or biological attack that citizens might be able to get help with the FEMA camps.
The coffins would be useful in either case listed above.

I really do not think they would be used for illegal aliens.

Fair enough. . . but why the "prison" format. . . .barbed wire to keep people in and electric turnstiles? I just find it all immensely creepy. Maybe I am oversensitive because my ex was German. I have heard first hand accounts of what life was like in Nazi Germany. . .my kids great-Oma telling how she survived sitting under the kitchen table listening to the BBC while Hitler was turned up loudly on the living room radio. I have walked the ground of Dachau and listened to my ex-MIL's friends who lived there at the time how they saw the trains and smelled the stench, but didn't question anything. . .because of fear they would "disapppear in the night" next.

People think this is alarmist and crazy, but if it can happen in Germany, Russia and Cambodia. . .it can happen anywhere. We are not somehow better than any of those people. Don't you think they had citizen's that were saying,"hey. . .wtf is going on here? Wake up people." What happened there to those people was real and it happened before most people knew what was going on.

That's kind of strange. I wonder if maybe they're for possible epidemics? I think Bird Flu was heavily anticipated to hit us hard. Fortunately that hasn't happened (yet) but maybe the gov't was preparing for such a disaster. I'm not big into conspiracy theories so I'm thinking of logical explanations for places like that.

The government may know something we don't. It could be a quarantine area in case of a biological terrorist attack.

Yes! If you don't have a reasonable explanation then I'm not interested in a what you have to say. I'm interested in truthful observation. My grandfather was a Volga German. I heard first hand his stories of other Germans disappearing in the middle af the night at the hands of the Soviets. How his father gathered him and his family and fled the country to come to the US before any of them went missing. If you want to live in your little ethnocentric little world, fine! But make no mistake! You will not be the first in human history to make this fatal mistake.

You can call me nuts, but until anybody can provide for me a resonable explanation for the things that are and have been happening here then I will continue to question until I get some plausible explanations. But nevermind me. . .continue on sheeple. After all, Anne Frank was just a fictional character, right?

I don't think that this is planning for an epidemic. From everything I've read, they were preparing for a massive roundup of illegal aliens. They were also talking about possibly using these illegal aliens as for hire farm labor to support these prisons.

Because of the size of these prisons, we should be suspicious. You could house an awful lot of dissident citizens in these facilities.

We do not know the half of what the Bush administration has been up to.

That's just it. She comes on here posting this stupid video demanding explanations for it when she's demanding from the wrong people. SHE knows what she thinks those camps are for and I know what I think those camps are for and I think both she and I agree on what those camps are for.

Go snottily demand an answer from Mr. Bush, OP. You aren't the only one who has family affected by the Holocaust. Ethnocentric, my butt.

The US in the past has used these "type" of camps to house German, Japanese, and others in our country (especially during WWII).
Nothing is out of the question as to what these camps might be used for. Yes, things can happen here just like anywhere in the world.
I was just basing my thoughts on what they might currently be a plan to use the camps for.Such as a debtors prison.
Ask me in a couple of months and I might have a different answer depending on the world situation.

The Constitution has been ignored by our Presidents and Congress. Both Republican and Democrats.
Try Patriot Act and FISA to start.

This is just amazing to me! For the last 6 years, truble and I and many others here screamed our heads off, flailed our arms wildly in the air, and begged people to wake up and think seriously about the Patriot Act and the train wreck coming at us that was going to be unavoidable......

And somebody tells us now that we should read about it.

I remember you from 2004.

I also remember Gen. Franks saying that if we had another terrorist attack, the American people would throw the constitution out the window.

I remember Bush saying that he wouldn't mind a dictatorship as long as he was the dictator. McCain has said the same thing.

Bush has extensive plans for implementing martial law in this country. He's deputized thousands and authorized them to shoot on sight under martial law. I also heard that when Bush presented the bailout plan, he said that if it didn't pass, he was declaring martial law.

The OP has expressed concern that an Obama win means a totalitarian government. Liberals aren't very friendly towards the authoritarian model while conservatives say, trust the President; follow him. Don't question his judgement. I do believe that the OP has things a bit backwards.

My neighbor has kindly forwarded me many emails regarding Obama the Mulim, Obama the Black Liberation devotee, Obama the America hater, and he who associates with terrorists. I've debunked them all. Finally, last week, I told him that I know who he voted for in the last two election and that if anybody needs to be educated about who to vote for, it was him. I also told him that he needed to come to terms with an Obama win. He's no longer speaking to me. He'll get over it.

My point exactly. And again if the official word is that these are for illegals. . . .why would that have anything to do with FEMA?

WTH is your problem? This is in no way a Dems vs Rupubs thing and I NEVER stated such a thing. That is a divisive measure used to distract from what is possibly really going on. If we both believe the same thing then why the calling it "stupid" et al? How is that demanding from the "wrong" people? I'm asking fellow citizens what they think this means. I guess you are too caught up in the partisan crap to see the forest through the trees.

I haven't been posting here for the last 6 years. Trust me I would have been right there screaming with you. The Patriot Act and the FISA stuff is not a partisan issue. I think the train wreck is coming no matter who gets elected. It makes Biden's comments about the "generated crisis" and "you won'tlike what we do, but just trust us" even that more scary.

I agree with what you posted above except to me this is a non-partisan issue. I do think this is coming no matter who is elected. And like I just posted above. . . it was Biden that warned us and said "trust us."

My problem with you happened when I made a non-inflammatory observation as a comment to someone else's post and you came back at me with a sneer and rolling eyes. If your true intent was not to do that to me, then I suggest in the future that you don't do that to me and I won't do it back to you. Fair enough?

I think you misunderstood my post. When I said:

I was agreeing with you. . . .rolling my eyes at the people that think these things haven't already been put in place for a reason.

LOL! It's ok. Sometimes things are hard to interpret on a message board minus tone of voice, inflection, etc.

hmmm... I've been homerjfong and nobody else on this board since 2003. The original politics and general chatting boards were taken down long ago. I remember you, though. Honestly, there's plenty of people here who can vouch for me and who I am.

I'm pretty sure I remember you from the old current events board.

Thanks. I went to another board with a bunch of the members from here when that one was closed down, but I've been around here occasionally over those few years. I guess I see so many familiar faces here that I didn't realize how "forgettable" I personally may be.
