McCain's concession speech

What a classy and honorable man McCain is.

His speech moved me incredibly. I saw a man who is not only humble, but gracious as well. He is so classy!

He reminds me so much of Reagan.

Red face

yes i noticed also when McCain was giving his speech, and the crowds were booing , he did lower his hands for the crowds ti stop. That was a class act all the way.I also always admit when I am wrong and I did feel sorry for him, when he said that he himself lost the fight not the people,Itruly felt sad for him. Also If I can across yesterday as not being nice to say something nice about him, it was simply I did not want a repeat of the last 8 years from Bush.In the end I will say I watched John McCains entire speech and was deeply moved.Catherine

BaracK Obama I also firmly believe will also make a wonderful president and sincerely hope those who did not vote for him at least give him a chance. After all its only fair, 8 years ago I did not vote for Bush and I gave him a chance, the same should be given to our newly elected president.. Catherine

You are entitled to your incorrect opinion. Time will tell...

You don't know that. I have a little story to share. In grad school I took a psych class where we did a little experiment. The proff asked 30 questioned and we moved to the right of the room or to the left depending on what the answer was. At the end of the 30 questions I was the only person standing to the left. . .actually after about 20 questions I was always standing alone. I thought for sure I was screwed, but still felt pretty confident that I has answered the questions correctly. You know what? I had! I was the only person that had answered ALL the questions correctly and wasn't swayed by the popular choice. I still take great pride in that and the proff praised me alot for that! I will never be a bandwagon person! I won't EVER go against my better judgement. . .that's just stupid! I will go with the crowd if I think they are right. . .but if I think they're not. . . no amount of "persuasion"is going to make me change my mind or doubt my judgement. Soooo. . . I really don't care how many people were moved to tears. I do think Obama gave a great speech and I hope he meant everything he said. . .but I'm still doubtful.
