Question Republican Nominee for 2012??

Anyone got any ideas who we should watch for in the 2012 election?? I seriously doubt Sarah Palin will be in the running.

I'm not that up on Washinton politics to even guess.

I'm guessing the once-talked-of Bush dynasty is no more....otherwise I'd say Jeb Bush.

I don't know much about him, but I've heard Bobby Jindal's name thrown around. The other one I've heard is Tim Pawlenty.

Nah, we didn't like him enough this year and the candidate pool wasn't exactly stellar.

I'm hoping for Bobby Jindal!!!! There is finally a competant governor in my home state. One who gets things done and isn't an admitted crook who gets re-elected over and over. Those of you from La know who I am referring to. LOL! I think Bobby is the future of the GOP. Too bad there was a hurricane and he had to cancel speaking at the convention. I was very impressed with him in how he handled the hurricane / evacuation. He had his stuff together.

I don't think that Newt Gingrich has put his ambitions aside.

I would be ALL OVER Condi! Too bad she has no desire...oh but wait...sorry, i forgot she's black, I can't pull for a black candidate! Shame on me..I forgot my place in this forum!

But seriously, I LOVE Condi!

I too have been hearing great things about Bobby Jindal...though I need to do more reading.

Marsha Blackburn has intrigued me on what I have seen of her, but again, I don't know as much as I need to to make an educated opinion.

Mitt..~eh~, I respect him he's a fabulous business man, I believe he has great morals & isn't out to line pockets that get him where he needs to go...but there's just something missing for me, something I can't quite put my finger on.

Rudy really was my first choice this time around, I love his politics, humor & his take no hostages approach..but he failed me miserably in his campaign.

Too bad ole Barack didn't put Mitt on his economic team and be bi-partisan. Now that would have impressed a lot of us! lol Didn't Rudy do a good job of cleaning up NYC? Maybe he should be in there too. Wouldn't a true bi-partisan team be awesome? I would definitely change my tune if that happened! (I could have seen McCain do it.)

I think it will be a relative unknown, a Senator or Governor that most of the public doesn't know well. I can't even begin to guess who it'll be.

"Gingrich is far from a unanimous or even a consensus choice to run for president in 2012, but there is a strong feeling in Republican ranks that he is the only leader of their party who has shown the skill and energy to attempt a comeback quickly."
Nobody in Republican ranks, however, matches Gingrich's dynamism.

Gingrinch...shudder. Not fond of that fella. I'd take Mitt or Rudi or Condi. (what a bunch of weird names...LOL) Oh, and I was rather fond of Elizabeth Dole but haven't been following her follies of late.

I like Newt...he got too popular & the attack machine went in to do as much damage as possible, I wonder if it was too much damage? I know I liked where he stood on the bail out...

I honestly don't understand how ANYONE would want that position, the ugliness that comes from it...the injustices that are played out on a daily basis would make me insane!
