Voting Shifts 2004 v. 2008 data

Interesting data that comes out of this election.


President Map - Election Results 2008 - The New York Times

FYI - the following "redder" state have the least educated population.

42 Oklahoma
43 Tennessee
44 Louisiana
45 Alabama
48 Arkansas
50 Kentucky
51 West Virginia

ACS: Ranking Table -- Percent of People 25 Years and Over Who Have Completed a Bachelor's Degree

And, the poorest states:

2) Arkansas
5) West Virginia
8) Oklahoma
9) Kentucky
10) Alabama

So, the key for the Republican party's reinsurgence is to make more areas uneducated, poor, and radically religious. .... Kindof like how the Middle East keeps things going so smoothly.
