| Joe The Plumber Sours on McCain
I think this is funny. Now that McCain is toast, Joe's willing to say he doesn't like him anymore. Palin, though, she's alright with old Joe. Quote:

I'm hoping for an Alaskan as POTUS after the product of the cesspool that is Chicago politics is done milking the federal government for all it's worth to pay back all of those people who helped him along the way. Joe soured on McCain, I share his distaste. I too held my nose and voted for the lesser of two evils. Here's hoping that in 2012 we have a Republican running that understands what Reagan believed -- government is the problem. Unfortunately the current POTUS is a big government Republican. We need a choice between two distinct people, not a choice that is merely different shades of the same color. All Joe did was ask "the one" a direct question. He caught him off guard because nobody ever asked him any real questions and he answered honestly. Joe did us all a favor. PS Given the fact that "the one" endorsed that dirt bag governor 4 times. Given all of the interconnected ties in Chicago style politics... Given the huge raise his wife got following his election to the Senate (and the money that then flowed to her employer)... The land purchase, the board seat for Mrs. "the one" on a company that is completely outside of her realm of expertise... It's only a matter of time until the stench coming out of Chicago starts to stick to "the one" who can do no wrong. The only question is will the same media who got him elected, actually do any real investigative reporting. I doubt it. I hope he has a successful FOUR years as President. I hope our country remains safe and that our economy turns around. I hope that he was able to thrive in that cesspool of corruption and remained clean.

I am sure that after the 8 years that PE Obama has in office the Republicans will have come up with a new candidate. Highly doubt that it will be Palin, however. I find it amusing that only those, mostly republicans, who choose to denigrate Obama are the ones to use "the one" to describe him. And,so much for YOUR call for a friendly board...."dirtbag" "cesspool" "stench", "the one".....if you, as "MC Prez" can't follow your own "rules" calling for a "friendly board", how will anyone else and how do you expect them to? This leaves the boards wide open again....

My advice turn your radio dial away from the conservative talk...trust me you'll feel better. At the very least look for more balanced “news”. Then you can join the majority of us and put your energy towards the positive. Time to get over this hate and sour grapes. |

You know, I agree that Joe did us a favor. When he asked that question, he showed the world that, unlike McCain and Palin, Obama would answer honestly, something the other two could never quite bring themselves to do. As for the cesspool of Chicago politics, what greater proof of Obama's innocence and clean hands, than Blagojevich going postal on him and his refusal to play along? Never heard anyone from the Keating Five talk about how McCain wouldn't play. And we've all seen evidence of Palin's delight in using state funds to pay her own household bills.

It seems to me that "Joe" was a willing participant in this whole election. If he was truly your "average" person, I would think he'd want all the attention on him to die off! Regardless of the person I supported/voted for--the nation has spoken. WE have elected a President and it's time to stop flinging mud and sh*t, and get down to fixing what's been broken by the previous administration.

As for the media. That same media is the one that has basically given Bush a pass for 8 years. There are, few if any, true investigative reporters left. My hope is that now that there is a Dem in office that the justice department will start looking at corruption in areas other than those that are heavily Democratic. Even though we are about the get a Dem Gov, they should feel free to start right here in Missouri. I'm pretty sure there are good pickings here from the current administration. I think there are a few other southern and midwestern states that could stand a little scrutiny too. |
