Needed: Brownie G.S. items
I have a Brownie G.S. trrop with half in low income families.Im looking for used tryit books,handbooks, and /or empty sashes.Can you help????

Does your council offer financial assistance for the scouts. I am the SU Manager for our area with 750 scouts and we offer financial assistance of $70 for a Brownie scout to buy them what they need and cover dues money. I hope there is something for them!!

Most GS Councils will supply the girls with at least a free sash if they cannot afford one. I would contact your council for help.

I am a leader to 2 troops plus I am a Recruiter/Organizer. Yes, check with your Council, but you may also want to check with your Service Unit to circulate word that you are looking for these items. I sent out an email to our leaders and sorry, I just donated my set of Brownie books to a troop in an underserved area.

I hope you get what you all need.

In my dd troop (both Brownies and Jrs) only the leader has a handbook not the girls. So if the council helps you with the sashes and reg. you should be ok. With all the money they get from cookies sales I hope they can help you.

I am currently looking for Daisy GS stuff for my daughter and have had great success purchasing cubscout and boyscout stuff on ebay at reasonable prices. Check it out.
