DS decided my cell phone could swim, and threw it in the pool last night. ( With me watching, but frozen in slow motion, as I knew I couldn't get up fast enough to stop it)

Anyway, I need a phone compatible with my SIM card. I am not too picky, just need an unlocked phone since I have AT&T/Cingular.

I have PPHF, and GC to MOST everywhere!

I wouldn't give up on the phone. Take the battery cover and battery off and put the parts out in the sun for a few days. Sometimes they will dry out and be fine. Whatever you do, do not try to charge it while it is still wet or it will be fried!

Have you tried the freecycle.org in your area? My dd lost her phone last year and I put a *want* out for the same thing-Cingular-that requires a SIM card. I had 3 people offer them to me. Free of course! I went and got one, went to Cinglular and they gave me a new card.
