I had my boys' rooms decorated with a motocross theme and made this valance to go with it, couldn't find anything I liked.

Measurements are: L 66" x W 15-1/2" (2" above rod, 1-1/2" rod opening, 12" from rod down.)
(Remember, on a valance you want the width (approx.) double of the what the window is so that it pleats right.)

Front side is black and white checkerboard fabric (like racing) backed with a solid white fabric so it's not so obvious from the outside of the window (boys' room was on the front of the house). Feel free to email me at christalkeith@verizon.net and I can send you out a picture.

Nicely made (if I do say so myself!), needs to be washed as it's dusty since I took it down but should wash up easily as all the fabric was washed before I sewed it, so should be no shrinking.
