I'm in search of a cat tower/condo in good shape for my new 3 month old kitten. They are SO expensive in the stores and on ebay. I used to see them at garage sales all the time, but now I'd like to get one for our lanai. If you live near Tampa and have one or know of a place that sells them for cheap please reply. Thanks!

I don't know what you mean by cheap, but I got mine from Ebay. You just have to watch the shipping costs. Here is one from the store I used that would be $38 with shipping.
They have hundreds of listings, from small to gigantic. Like I said, just watch the shipping!


I got a much larger one for $75 with shipping, mine goes from the floor almost to the ceiling. Quality is good; we have had our for over a year and it has held up to three cats jumping and scratching on it.

I would watch buying one used, because some cats will spray things that smell like other cats.

Thanks! I've been looking on ebay - there are some good deals, but the shipping is the killer! I made a makeshift cat condo out of cardboard boxes in the meantime - it looks pretty awesome and the kitty loves it. I'll keep looking - thanks for posting! Yeah, you're right about buying a used one. I wouldn't want my cat to roll around in the stink of another strange cat. Gross!

Oh and another thing my cats love is a house that is made out of small plastic poles and then has fabric that goes over it. I got it at Target or Walmart for around $20. It is in a small box, because you have to assemble it.
