Hi. I cut the canes down last fall and have tons of seeds for this years plantings. These come up every year and basically seed themselves once they get established. The flowers are red and pink varieties. They are tall (about 6 feet) so they make a good backdrop planting. The large blooms attract hummingbirds. These take about two seasons to really establish themselves so be advised that this year they will produce the stalks and the flowers will come in the summer of 2008.
