Printing on “silk” has been Colorano’s only business for more than 38 years! As pioneers of this intricate process, we continue to provide thousands of stamp collectors with commemorative envelopes that many consider to be the finest available anywhere. Our clients, to name only a few, include the U.S. Postal Service, the Library of Congress, the National Archives, and the United Nations.

Greeting and note cards were the logical extension of our collector business and thus, Silk-Art Cards was born. Our goal was simple: to provide stock and custom cards for any and all occasions that reflect the sender's sense of style.

Using state-of-the-art equipment, we print in full-color on a synthetic fabric that has the look and feel of genuine silk. Real silk, of course, would be much too fragile. The fabric is trimmed and hand-applied to each card. The result is nothing short of spectacular! The “silk” image beautifully reflects the surrounding light and the card has a “feel” that only can be achieved through this process.
