I believe this is for new members only, and you have to be in one of their delivery areas (though I think it is fairly extensive), but they are willing to give you one item for $10 or less for free. You have to make a username, but there is no commitment and no credit card or payment of any type necessary.

It says that the almost free item is part of a $30.00 minimum order!

I placed my order with no mention of a $30 minimum. Granted it hasn't been delivered yet (I'll let you know if it shows up Monday), but I got my confirmation page, and the item was the only thing on my order.

Maybe you aren't in their delivery area and there is a $30 minimum for them to send it to you? Sorry it didn't work for you.

Thanks for posting this! I read about this a few days ago and completely forgot about it until I read your post. It worked fine for me. I purchased another item and didn't have to pay delivery charges at all. So for a total of $9.99 I ordered enough for probably 3 meals. Thanks!

I was able to order the "free" but had to pay tax... a whopping 2 cent.. now do I send the order in and charge my credit card for 2 cent.. or do I order more? LOL...

Is there something I am missing? ( any code or something) I added an item under $10 but no luck, it did say I qualified on the entry page.
I tried it with the items on their free food page and with misc other items but it won't take off the $10 no matter how much I order.

I just ordered the ground beef patties and it worked like a charm. They are supposed to be delivered on Tuesday 9/29.

I ordered mine over a month ago and nothing. I called three times already and was told that someone would call me within 3 days and I am still waiting. I was told the person who is in charge of my area is out on medical leave and there are substitute delivery people filling in

I ordered the chicken pies and they were delivered promptly the next week. No charge whatsoever. I sent the message out to my friends and I've received emails back from them. They've had no problems. But I think it's too expensive, IMO.

I have to ask - when they were delivered, did the delivery man try to get you to buy more stuff? Or say he'd be back next week to see if you wanted to order anything? I used to get Schwanns regularly but then finances changed and I couldn't afford it anymore. The delivery guy in our area just wouldn't take no for an answer. Week after week after week he'd stop to see if we wanted anything. I finally had to tell him to just STOP coming to my house. That was several years ago and I'm hoping he's been replaced in my area.

Just ordered the mini corndogs. I am a little leery about this though. Not sure if they are gonna try to keep sending stuff and charge your card, or what.

Well, my beef patties were just delivered. Quick and easy. No hard sell. No literature and promise to return next week. I may just order something from them and actually pay for it.

No, he was real nice. He asked if I would like him to come back in two weeks. I told him sure, if he wanted to. He didn't try to sell me anything else or pressure sale. Someone asked about trying to charge our credit cards. I didn't have to give them any credit card information. It's been two weeks and I haven't gotten a follow-up call or anything. I did get an email stating I could place an order online.

Awesome thanks. I ordered the Italian meatballs that serves 9. I am supposed to make something for a dinner for my son's class that serves 8, for november 13th. Since i should have these by Oct. 23rd this is what I will make. I ma in their delivery area so I didn't have to pay a dime. And didn't give any creditcard information.


The $30 order only comes into play if they have to be shipped to you. If you are in their delivery area delivery is free.

Well my delivery date kept getting changed and put back without me even knowing it. First it was the 6th, then the 10th, then the 20th and I called and told them forget it. The 6th the guy called and I told him I was stepping out and to call in an hour. No return call, nothing. No contact since then. I happened to look on the website trying to get a phone number to call them at and saw that it had been scheduled for the 10th. When I asked the lady what happened because I hadn't heard anything since the 6th, she said it had been rescheduled again for the 20th. I said nevermind..cancel the whole thing.

Guess what? I got a call this morning wanting to know if they could deliver today. Wow...

yes..mine did the exact thing. he calls & stops by each week. very persistant..

My parents have been getting their pizzas for years. The grandkids love them. My neighbor says their frozen asparagus is the best thing other than fresh.

Got mine and began to get regular service.. however, I'll cancel soon..it's too expensive and these days you can find "like" items in the grocery store.. which taste just as good...
My delivery guy can't seem to get the day/time of delivery right.. he keeps coming when I'm at work.. then calls and comes back later.. sigh.. oh well.. LOL
