I just wanted to let all my freebie addicts know that I will no longer Mod the JF board. I have had fun and I hope you all are getting your freebies. I do not know who will mod the board after Monday. Ive had a good ride on the board and Im sure the next mod will have the same.!

Thanks everyone , I will still be here, just not with my Mod status. I don't like the way MC is being run and the continuous backlash from members when their feathers have been ruffled. Its not fun to add to a post and to have it picked to death .

Irish...We will miss you very much...I'm so sorry that you're not going to be the mod any longer...But I can certainly understand where you are coming from...Many times you have posted freebies and someone will come along and b@#$% and moan that the link isn't working, it isn't really a freebie but a contest, yada yada yada. I don't blame you. There's only so much you can take. You weren't getting paid for what you did...You were a volunteer. You could have spent your valuable time doing something other than this and not have to put up with the b@#$%^&*! This board won't be the same without you. I hope to see you post on the other boards. I'm sorry to hear you won't be a moderator here any longer. BUT I certainly understand why. Things should be fun and not put through a microscope all the time. People need to get a life and stop worrying about who should get credit for something.

We're all here to help each other...or at least that's how it is suppose to be.

WOW! This seems to be contagious. Another mod from one of the other boards is also leaving for the same reasons. It's a shame when people volunteer their time and energy and are not appreciated. My neighbor volunteered for ages and finally gave up after receiving criticism from the paid employee who oversaw the volunteers. First it started out that my neighbor was frowned upon by this person when she needed a day off to see her doctor. My neighbor at first thought that maybe this "boss" was having a bad day until......this 'boss' had the audacity to tell her that she wasn't working fast enough and would have to put in extra time to get the 'job' done. My neighbor facetiously asked her "If I have to put in more time, will you pay me extra?" The 'boss' seriously replied "of course not!" Now that's one dumb 'boss'! Some people just don't know how to appreciate others who volunteer.

With that, I will say thank you....and enjoy all your free time!

Irish, I really enjoyed your posts and you will be missed as a mod.

It is such a shame that some people who really need to get a grip made you feel the way you do. This board and all the others affiliated with it used to be so different. We were all here to have fun and catch a deal. there was no back biting, whining or complaining. If a link didn't work you moved on and still thanked the person who submitted it for spending the time to do so. I just don't get it. You were so great as the MOD on this board. Thank you so much for all of your efforts and hopefully you know they were appreciated by most of us here
