Wednesday's Dinner

I have to work tonight but I'm planning on leaving in a few minutes to go grocery shopping (the only time I'll get too since the roads will be closed all weekend for the Pungo Festival), but I made some chicken salad last night, will make egg and tuna salad for the kids tonight. Will probably buy some potato salad so they can make cold plates for dinner tonight. What's everyone having?

I have two sub jobs at different schools today, so will make spaghetti and meatballs in between. I guess we'll have a salad and bread as sides. We have leftover banana cake for dessert. Hope everyone has a great day! Tammy, are you going to watch the parade on Sat.? I think we will be there-DS will be marching w/ the KHS band. If you go, you can't miss him-he'll be the tallest one there!

I think we'll just have a frozen pizza or frozen dinner of some type. I have some that I bought when they were on sale plus I had coupons so it's a cheap, easy dinner. My girls have karate tonight and I never feel like cooking when we get home and eating out is just too expensive. We do it too often and I'm really trying to cut back on that.

We're having a pork loin roast smoothered in garlic, sauerkraut, parsley buttered potatoes and fresh steamed broccoli. For dessert I made a fresh strawberry pie.

I grilled chicken breasts the other night and made more than we needed. I think I'll just heat those up in the microwave. We'll finish up a bagged salad and I'll probably make a veggie to go with it.
