BPWife is not very nice.
I use regular Tide powder and Oxi Clean. I put a scoop of each in and it seems to work well. I was using "off brands" that were less expensive for awhile, but I was never happy with them. I get the Tide a Sam's Club in a huge box, and the Oxi Clean I get at Target (it was on sale a few weeks ago) They last awhile for my family, we do about 3 loads a week. Hope this is helpful!

Thanks! Maybe some others will give their opinion, too. Anyone use All Free & Clear? Our grandbaby is here a lot and thought that may be a good one for him. I would really like to be able to use the same one for all of us. Thanks again.

I usally buy what ever is on sale and I have a coupon for. However, I finally bit the bullet and made my own laundry detergent. It's really easy to make and is SO cheap. You just use a little washing soda, borax, and 1/3 bar of soap. I've been using it for a couple months and my clothes are clean and smell good.

I usually buy a couple of boxes of Bi-o-Kleen when it goes on sale at the health food store. There's only me, and you use very little per load. It lasts a VERY long time for me, and it smells SO GOOD. Citrusy, not chemical. (I nearly barf when I stay at my brother's and everything smells like GAIN. It's not a horrible smell, but it's so in-your-face.) Bi-o-kleen is not cheap, and I don't think I've ever seen a coupon, but it works well.

I do admit to keeping green label Downy in the laundry for my sheets and blankets. It's great if you don't use too much- good softening and holds the scent for a long time. Haven't seen a good deal on Downy in a while- Sam's doesn't carry the green capped scent (Mountain something), so I use the 20 cent coupons they send out and buy the refills at a store that doubles or triples. Thank goodness I don't have to use this alot.

Gain and Tide are my absolute favorites, but they are expensive. Have been using Purex, it's cheap, plus on sale, and coupons. Still not my favorite though!!

I use All Free & Clear & it works fine. I use Tide Free & Clear & it works fine also. I have alot of allergies & neither bother me. Either one would be good for the baby.
God Bless ,
Norma

I use the All Free and Clear for my oldest's clothes, who is allergic to everything! I have also used Cheer's version and it's ok, but I prefer the All Free and Clear. Bounch and Downy also make plain fabric softener.
