| Where to buy cheap textbook?
My daughter is taking her first AP class in high school this year, and they need to buy The Unfinished Nation by Alan Brinkley. Where is the best place to check for a good price on textbooks? Do regular, used bookstores ever carry textbooks? I know there's always ebay. What about half.com -- I've never used them before.

DH is getting his MBA 17 yrs after getting his BA. He buys all his textbooks at AbeBooks: New & Used Books, Textbooks, Out of Print and Rare Books. You need to know ISBN # of the textbook you need to make sure you get the correct revision. These are international versions (exact same book but printed out of the USA) and are softcover. Shipping cost is high but you save so much on your books that it is still much, much cheaper to buy from them. Sometimes they ship from overseas so you need to give yourself plenty of shipping time. DH typically saves $50-$80 per textbook by buying from them. Good luck! |
