| Thursday's dinner
Youngest dd still at camp! I got a letter from her today and other than the heat, they're having a blast! I'm so glad! I miss her! 2 more days till she comes home. Oldest dd is sick. It's looking like she may have picked up food poisoning from dinner last night at a Chinese restaurant. Not sure, that's just what the symptoms are looking like. She's eaten about 4 bites of watermelon & part of a diet 7UP today. I feel bad for her. DH will be home later, so he & I will be trying a new recipe for a Layered Italian Salad for dinner. Best wishes to your oldest DD, lisa....stinks to be sick like that.  We had basic stuff that the boys love: sloppy joes, tater tots, corn, and pound cake with strawberries & blueberries & Cool Whip for dessert.

Sorry your daughter is sick, Lisa. I'm working an hour later for the summer and just finished slicing a ham I had cooked a couple of days ago, so we're just having leftovers. DH can finish the pot roast, mashed potatoes, and peas. I'll just make a dent in what's left of the BIG pot of split pea soup I made. Then I need to get the rest of it into the freezer.
