Sunday eats

I bought 3 racks of ribs at the meat market so I'll chop one up and cook it in the crockpot with BBQ sauce. Sauerkraut is the side dish.

What is everyone else eating tonight?

We're grilling filet mignon, sauteeing onions & mushrooms, fresh green beans, baked potatos & fresh peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream.

I had DS1 invite 3 of his HS classmates (2 are his college roommates) over for a cookout/dinner tonight, so that's 6 guys total. We're going to have marinated and grilled steak tips & chicken, corn on the cob, tuna pasta salad, chips & salsa, watermelon and I made scotcheroos & a blueberry bundt cake for dessert. I hope that's enough!

Question for you...
What meat do you use for your steak tips and what do you marinate them in?

It has finally cooled off a little here! We turned off the air, opened the windows, and I headed for the kitchen. I made a double batch of chocolate chip cookies and a batch of blueberry ice cream. Then I started some garlic rolls in the bread machine and a big batch of spaghetti sauce. So dinner is: spaghettic with meat sauce and homemade garlic cheese rolls. Dessert is blueberry ice cream, strawberry ice cream, and/or chocolate chip cookies. (OH, I forgot, I also have leftover lemon cake. I think I'll push that!)

everyone has yummy dinner menus tonight!

we're having
grilled butterflied chicken
reheated tea-smoked babyback ribs (made 2 racks a few nights ago)
a yet to be determined side dish (mac & cheese? baked potatoes? roasted potatoes?)
salad
green beans

lots of dessert choices; dh and I picked up a chocolate cake at the bakery (oy! it was over-priced and rather dull, sorry we bought it), yesterday I made a fab cheesecake and picked up 1/2 a flat of raspberries, there's a bit of lemon/lime pound cake left and ice cream too. something to make everyone happy
